Runesmith: Chapter 70 – Spring cleaning.

“Here you go, Mr. Wayland. Due to the lack of information, you will have to start off as a bronze ranked adventurer. You shouldn’t worry, with your current level you should be able to rank up in no time!”

Roland was standing in the busy adventurer’s guild wearing his armor. He was looking at his adventurer card. It had his new persona’s name on it and also it had a small bronze symbol in the corner. It looked like a small sword and shield that were placed over one another with...

Chapter 258

Zhang Dong looked at Huo Qiang fly away towards the monsters. The little conversation that his sons and his disciples had evaded him as he was busy going towards the bottom of the light-tower. His wife wasn’t here with him as she remained outside to aid Qiang if anything out of the ordinary appeared outside.

There were no nascent soul monsters out there yet but that didn’t mean that ones wouldn’t come to be. He knew how these tentacle beings operated. He only hoped that some of th...

Update : Runesmith.

I have managed to squeeze out some chapters to finally make the higher tier pledge worthwhile for Runesmith readers. Took me about two months but can finally do it :D

Will be adding a higher tier above the 10€ but with no real bonuses above the lower tiers. It's more for people to donate that like my stories and want to support me further. Might add unedited chapters or unfinished ones into it? ( Though probably most feel unedited already...)

Maybe use the patrons name as...

Runesmith : Chapter 69 – Getting a house.

The doors to the adventurer’s guild swung open and a man that was wearing a helmet stepped forward. He had a dark blue brigandine armor on complete with a set of graves and leather boots in a similar dark color.

Under it was a thinner piece of cloth armor that was keeping him warm. It was doing its job a bit too well as underneath that helmet sweat was forming on the young man’s forehead.

‘I bet that dungeon will be a lot warmer, maybe I should include some kind of chilling ...

Runesmith: Chapter 68 – Albrook

The sound of hooves clopping on the hard ground filled the area. It was followed by the sound of wooden wheels spinning on multiple carriages. There were many people talking while trotting forward along with the horses. Their destination was the town of Albrook which was just around the corner.

Roland was just one of the many people with big dreams that had come here. Adventurers, merchants, and even entertainers, all of them were trying to hit it off big here. Everyone knew that with t...

Runesmith : Chapter 67 – Dragnis Island Port.

There it was, the promised land. It had taken him over two weeks to get here but he was finally on Dragnis Island. This was just a small port town through which he needed to travel through but he was almost there.

He could already see his brand spanking new workshop that he would create with his own two hands. It would be bigger than the shabby one that he was given in Edelgard. He would fill it up with precious metals and create magical items left and right. The future was truly bright...

Runesmith: Chapter 66 – Out at sea.

“Raise th' anchor lads!”

“Aye, raise th’ anchor!”

Following the shout of Isabela, the sailors started raising the ship’s anchor. The sounds of large thick chains bumping against the side of the ship were heard as it was ready to set sail.

This ship was your regular large sail ship with a lot of space for cargo. Thanks to the spatial magic technology in this world a ship like this could carry a staggering number of items. This reduced the weight and saved up space...

Runesmith: Chapter 65 – Time to sail away.

Roland looked at the road beneath this caravan. It had changed from being one made from dirt to something better. It was a paved road instead which showed that he was really close to a larger city. This also indicated that they had probably gotten away from the lawless lands and monsters.

It had been over a day since the bandit encounter. Everyone here was still on edge and Roland could tell that people had a hard time sleeping. Surprisingly during the previous night, they weren’t att...

Runesmith: Chapter 64 – Going solo once again.

Roland was sitting on a tree stump that was meant for chopping wood. He had some red beans in a wooden bowl that he was munching on. This was the morning of the next day after the fight with the bandits.

It had rained for a couple of hours during the night but soon afterward the clouds had cleared up. The next day was quite sunny and thanks to the rain the stench of blood wasn’t as bad.

While eating he looked at the pile of corpses in the middle of the village that was more of a...

Huo Qiang smashed both of his large fists together. After these five years, he had grown a nice red beard to go with his crimson hair that was now longer as well. He was getting ready to jump out of the protective formation along with some of his sect brothers. There was also a particular group of youngsters among them, each one with similar crimson hair as Qiang.

“Father, the barrier will be opening soon.”

“Great, are you and the boys ready?”

Huo Qiang was grinding ...

Zhang Dong had gotten the lighthouse running up again. The holy light filled the entire city and bathed its citizens with healing energies. These were much purer than the divine ones that they were used to. The people that were stuck in lower cultivation realms could feel themselves advancing by just being in the presence of this energy.

He had destroyed the roof of this tower but the people here didn’t care. They were looking at Zhang Dong with worship in their eyes and he knew it. T...

Two men dressed in shabby clothes were walking through the night. The visibility was bad but the two just couldn’t hold it in anymore, nature was calling. After drinking deluded alcohol for most of the day, the two needed to empty themselves.

Their buddies were still being loud while having fun. They had hit it off big this time around, they had managed to take over a caravan filled with riches. They had suffered a small setback but after taking out a certain mage, the defenses of the...

Zhang Liena was walking through one of the corridors in her mansion. It had been about a week since her son was born. Normally it would take at least a month to get back to full health. With the technology that her husband supplied the sect with the time required went down dramatically.

She was just returning from one of the better sect doctors. The man didn’t hold a candle to her husband but he was the next best thing. She was given the seal of approval, now was the time to get ready...

Runesmith: Chapter 62 – Arriving at the village?

The party of four set up camp by a shallow cave. They were lucky enough that it was only occupied by one giant spider type monster. It didn’t even have any babies and was easily dispatched by Roland who tossed a fire blast spell in there.

The monster went up in flames nicely and had been almost instantly cooked in the process. No one was actually willing to eat the thing, not even the half-orc companion who didn’t look like a picky eater.

They made a fireplace to ward off some...

Fang Heng looked at the white-haired man that was walking in front of him. This was the person that had aided his granddaughter in the banquet. He didn’t expect to see him here of all places.

He had received a device to set up a teleportation gate with him but it wasn’t working. When he and some of his sect members examined it further they found out the problem. It was this blasted mist. It was somehow blocking out the signal from traveling further.

There was a proposition of ...

All of the villagers bowed down before him as if he was some kind of divine being. He had healed their sick and even set up a small defensive formation to keep them safe from harm. In their hearts, he was already an unfathomable being worthy of worship and devotion.

When he was about to remove himself from this village one of the elders spoke up. It was an old man that used to be the village head before this all happened.

“P-please honorable senior, grace us with your name, we w...

Chapter 61 – Impromptu Party 2

On the way, the new party visited the crash site, or what remained from it. Roland was hoping that they might find some provisions.

To his dismay the only thing he found there was scrap metal and wood, along with more goblins that they luckily cleared out without that much of a problem.

While here, Roland looked up to the mountain above them. He could not see the path from which they fell down. There was also a thick fog right in the middle of the mountain range that limited his v...

Zhang Dong was criminally susceptible to the cries of women, even worse if it were children involved. This all due to him becoming a father himself. It would be more reasonable to leave these people here and continue towards the main location of the Divine Fist Sect.

He might lose a lot of time if he started helping everyone along the way. The problem was that it could cost people's lives. Even now if he didn’t intervene here five lives would have been extinguished. If he let somethin...

“So, they even branded you?”

The sound of a crackling fireplace could be heard while some people talked. A slight clank of metal against metal was also discernible.

“Regretfully so…”

A woman in a black coat was holding her hands out toward the fire. Her skin was dark caramel and she had quite the long ears. Her name was Aredhel and she was part of the moon elven nobility.

He was finally at his destination, how it looked was a lot different than he had expected. When using his own eyes he could hardly see anything past ten meters in a circle around him. He had placed his flying sword back into his spatial ring by now and was just floating close to ground level.

“It’s really quiet… too quiet… where are all the animals?”

He wasn’t far away from the border wall now. He was expecting to get to the bottom of this but he couldn’t see any bod...

Zhang Dong left the bewildered family along with the small group of bandits. He chuckled to himself as they all had silly expressions on their faces. Probably because they were all still alive after coming across someone of his caliber.

He didn’t have time to stick around and help out anymore. The reason for them being in this desolate spot was unknown to him and he would keep it that way.

Zhang Dong whizzed on his flying sword through the lands while keeping a low profile. He l...

Logon was his name. He was a moon elf hailing from the Kingdom of Bolia that bordered the Caldris Kingdom. He was a young warrior that took on the swordsman route and this was also the class that he had now.

Bolia was a country composed mostly of moon elves and it was the counterpart of the Holy Kingdom of Alexandria that most sun elves lived in. Both of these races didn’t see eye to eye. There was a buffer between them in the form of the Caldris Kingdom. This didn’t allow combat to...

Two days had passed since the new life’s arrival. The people in the city were still in the middle of a large party. Because of the birth of the Patriarch’s son, the sect let even the citizens have a blast.

They sponsored drinks and food to the masses so that everyone could enjoy this happy moment. The people rejoiced and as proper citizens drank themselves silly till they all passed out. Probably a lot more lives were conceived that night but that was a story for a different time. View Post
