Quick Update

Meatier Showers Cover Art Ver. 2.0

Hey guys, just dropping in for a quick update. Now that all 16 pages have been fully colored & adjusted, I've been moving back to working on the cover art. The previous iteration was based on the Coppertone Girl ads, you can look up Google for what it looks like.

It's been relatively challenging to share my work and progress without internet broadband at my disposal. For the most part, I have to tether data usage through my mobile phone, which incidentally has already overrun its data cap by 3 GB (so this month's bill is going to hurt my wallet.)

Color Phase

So here's a sample of the communication going on between Donryu & myself. Donryu has laid out all the flat colors for the characters. Pages 6-16 have more direction and lighting as those require a specific mood. Later this month, once I've cleared my slate of outstanding commissions, I will personally be working on the BG elements to set the overall mood and color script for Meatier Showers: Buff Patrol.

Back in May this year, trapped in the ennui of how things haven't seem to be getting any better back home, I committed myself to PAX AUS 2016 which will be happening in the first weekend of Nov, Melbourne, Victoria.
