There is nothing better than a huge window to produce a studio light.
In this case I decided to use the white curtain as diffuser (even if this lowers the level of light, it increases the overall quality making it softer), and I used the thick grey curtain to narrow the light source (to make it more directional and more grazing on Hilary C. skin).

Everything went well in Milano, and the new model, Lera, was gorgeous.
But the temperature was still cold, and Lera needed a couple of breaks to dress up and get warm in the sun.

What if your model does not fit inside the frame?
You can try both vertical or horizontal orientation but, if none of the two is enough to contain the exuberant lady, the last resort is to tilt the camera.
I rarely recur to this expedient, but I'm happy I did this time, because the composition works well and we are not cutting any part of her body.

You can't see it from this close portrait, because it is not in the frame and Quinn is turned on the wrong side anyway, but she was wearing handcuffs behind her back in this moment.

Ok, maybe this necklace is slightly on the long side for Corine, but she is wearing it so well we could overlook the sheer size of it.
I like how dynamic this photo looks, with the cross clearly dangling on one side.
I also like how the dark side of the face is protected from the light bouncing off the wall by the hair of Corine, giving her a more dramatic expression.

Most models are just pretending to show their nudity without any shame, but they would shy away if a stranger sees them through the open window.
I'm pretty sure also Karina would.

Sometimes making an intimate photo is not about making the best composition, especially with my way of working.
Once I've accurately focused on a significant expression of the eyes, and I zoom out inside the electronic viewfinder, I might find out that I'm too close to my subject, and that I can't get everything I want inside the frame.

I love light coming from a side, fondling the skin of my model and enhancing its texture, also if it means more work to retouch even the slightest imperfection.

Few cameras allow you to shoot from such an extremely low angle, because they need to have a tilting display on the back to help you in framing.
For this reason, the Fujifilm X100V was essential in creating this picture.
The ghost town of Consonno offers such a variety of spots for photography, that I need to go back sooner or later, several times!
I just need to select the ideal models for the task.
