I heard a sound.

It was time for a rear view, and I believe I never shown the bottom of Anneth to you on Patreon before.
So this was the perfect opportunity to catch two birds with one stone.

I asked Anneth to look out of the door as if she heard a sound of someone else in the house, and she did a good job, leaning out the head in a gracious way, and sticking out her bum for my camera's benefit.

I’ve always been a collector.

When I get hooked on something, I have to gather as much of it as I can afford to.
This happened with CD’s when I was a teenager, cameras and lenses both in the film and digital era, and even cars and motorbikes that are much more expensive and difficult to store.
In the last year, I’ve been infected by the wrist watch fever.

Took me a long time!

Let's start the new Month with a good news: finally I have finished retouching the photoshoot of Karina, the petite and elegant Ukrainian model that charmed most of my followers right from her first appearance.
The whole 834 photos (between color & BW) have been secured in my Archives for future reference and enjoyment.
I'm so pleased I can finally pick any of these pictures and show them to you at their best.

Comparison.

Mary inspires me to play this game...
This photo appears to be abstract and definite, the model appears strong and confident, and yet there is a breach in her armour in this photo, whilst I have another one where she appears even more like a superhero, and that version I'm going to post on my regular social media feed in the following days.

Surely in both photos the shape of Mary's breast from the side is something to behold, but I leave the comparison to you.

Cold case.

In December 7th, 2021, I posted the second preview from this shooting with Stella, hot from the moment, with a quick editing and a unripe interpretation of the light...

Later, editing all of the photos in batches, I changed my approach and opted for a warmer tone.
I still think this second interpretation of the sequence of pictures both images are coming from is more correct, and faithful to the atmosphere I was living in that moment.

A smile is too much.

Sometimes a smile is exaggerated, especially if it is not spontaneous, I much prefer my models to behave in a normal way.
So the serene expression Cristiana is wearing on this photo is precious, because it is genuine!
It is a positive and friendly expression, but without a precise meaning, so we have no idea what exactly she is thinking about, and this is because we're human beings, not emojis.

Industrial handsomeness.

As promised yesterday, here is a more majestic photo from my shooting with Sugar on Sunday, this time from inside of the abandoned factory.
This magical light lasted only a few minutes, but we tried to get the most out of it.

NEW SHOOTING WITH SUGAR (the second)

Busy week for the Bramley Apple Project, with a shooting on Friday (Martina), and one on Sunday (Sugar).
You already know Sugar, because I worked with her before in that photographic circle I was thrown out of in the beginning of this year (the style of my pictures was not approved by the ex model who owned the place), so there is no need to make a preview on the model herself.

As I was telling you yesterday, to maximise the relevance of our session, we tried new corner of the apartment as we were using it for the 2nd time, and the long corridor was an interesting place.
The confined and reflective nature of the walls also gave me the chance to boost the light from my 2 small spotlights, creating a sort of light box, like a miniature studio.

Martina 18!

Yesterday I had another shooting with Martina, number 18!
I left home at 5:30 in the morning to avoid the prime hour traffic and arrive on time at 8:00.
I arrived there half an hour in advance, waited patiently before going up, and we started only 10 minutes before schedule.
For midday was back home and I started working on the pictures.

Weather was bad and natural light was faint, but I did take a couple of additional spotlights to help out, like I use to do in Winter.

Down memory lane.

It is official, has been for the last months, 6 TB of external drive are not enough to store the Bramley Apple project any more.
Between the various stages of work on stills and videos, from raw data to finished product, I'm now unable to fit everything inside a 6TB storage, and I need to split the amount of data between 2 external drive.
The previous 4 copies of my work on 6TB units quickly became 2, so I had to add a new 8TB drive unit to make at least a third copy, to live on the saf...

A promise is a promise.

I told you something similar before: that in this page I want to share the more intimate photos of the models, the ones showing their humanity, the souls hidden behind those beautiful eyes.

I went back to this enchanted meadow on last Sunday with my wife, to have a walk, but it looked very different from what I witnessed on this day with Rabbit.
There has been a severe thunderstorm in my area before the August season and many trees fell down on the river Adda shores.
The pedestrian road along the river stayed closed for weeks, but now it appeared to have been restored to full use.

Women are graceful.

I've used this SMC Pentax M 135mm f3.5 just a couple of times, if I remember rightly.
It is a worthy lens and deserves to exploited to the fullest, but I have so many good lenses nowadays and I tend to stick to my favourite, and extract maximum performances out of them.
Ideally I would want to make many more shootings and use a higher numbers of lenses, but my problems are the limited time and the determination to keep the highest possible quality in my work.

Confidence.

We have close to 400 photos of Martina on Patreon, and we're never tired of her, but I still feel the need to share with you some different points of view of this model, unusual poses and unreleased aspects of her art and beauty.
I'm confident because there's no way to make her look ugly, whatever angle you choose to shoot the photo, whatever she's up to.

The latest submission.

Not sure if my asking this specific pose from my latest models means I'm becoming an old pervert, but the submissive position in a young lady like Anneth does work really well from an aesthetic point of view.
I tried different versions of this pose from the top looking down on her, and in numerous corners of the house, and this is one of the best results.
The innocent face of Anneth and the total absence of make-up are contributing to her Lolita look, while her full breast is indicative...

BW cover girl.

The fraud photographer I exposed on Thursday, at least had good tastes, and was instrumental in reminding us how beautiful is Bianca, especially in BW.
So today we revisit this shooting from August 2021, to pick a previously  unpublished photo, and select the BW version as the cover for once.

I wonder if he has learned the lesson, or if he is going to steal this one as well, assuming he is still a patron, because we have no way to know for sure...

Dressed by light.

MY WORK HAS BEEN STOLEN FROM PATREON.

THIS IS AN EXTRA POST.

Today I wanted to expose this fraud photographer, who is stealing the work of other people and claiming it as his own, trying to make money out of this swindle, also telling stories about how it was fun working with models he never even met in real life!!!

Bad taste editing is mixed with bad faith in erasing my logo from every picture, and giving new names to the models you’ve learned to love through my work.

You never know where to put the towel to have it handy when you end your shower, especially in an unfamiliar hotel room.

Still relevant in 2023?

This is a typical title of the YouTube videos I see, being about cars, motorcycles, camera gear, watches...
But those are technological feats that tend to become obsolete with time, and replaced by the latest and greatest iterations.

In the case of our favourite models we are talking about beauty, and that is timeless.
Marilyn Monroe is still relevant today and always will be, and every single photo of Martina will remain relevant until the last man survives on this planet.

Like an Egyptian.

I don't remember if there was a reason why old time Egyptians used to portrait people in profile, but it works fine also with Ania.
The rest of the scene has little to do with antique Egypt, but it is what came to my mind: a mythical fertility goddess from back then.

Intimacy.

There are many kind of intimacy, but we tend to identify only the sexual intimacy.
For example, with some of my models, I experience an artistic intimacy, the full confidence of creating something special together.
I guess this bond requires a number of session with a model to develop, and is not going to work with any model or during every session, but this time with Cristiana something really clicked and the magic happened.

Interpretation.

You can have a wonderful body, but if you don't know how to use it, you might end up looking sterile...
And this is something Lauretta does not!
She has a full control of her body and her expression, and she is a powerful weapon in the hands of a photographer.
This photo is a clear example of her mastery, as no part of her body, not even the smallest, is out of place or incoherent with her pose, everything is perfectly balanced.

Playing with hair.

Long hair does help my models with variety of poses, especially because they are not allowed to play with clothes or lingerie instead!
There is only a certain amount of poses you can do stark naked, so help with the hairstyle variable is welcome.
On the other hand you should consider that all the music in the world is made with only 7 notes, so the simplicity of nude is not a real limit, but a resource in itself.

Bathroom door.

Martina never closes the bathroom door.
I was embarrassed the first time I happened to pass in front of it whilst she was using the toilet, but she was perfectly at ease to left it open all the time, and several times since.
I guess there is nothing to hide, like with nudity, but I was raised differently, so I'm not used to this amount of confidence.
I could make it a habit, though, given the right teacher.
