DIFFERENT APPROACHES.

I’ve noticed that I have a different approach between what I post on my regular social media feed and on my Patreon page.  
It is as if I select the more spectacular photos to impress on regular social media.

Whilst on Patreon I reveal more intimate aspects of my models, they appear more human, vulnerable and fragile.

A big departure from the goddesses you can look elsewhere on my networks.  
Maybe I unconsciously believe that if you are paying to see more about ...

Tabletop.

In my photography I frequently ask the models to take some unnatural poses in order to make them look as natural as possible, which sounds like a contradiction in terms.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it looks awkward, but it is just a way to display their bodies in the best possible way.

This is the whole point of an artistic research, to risk trying new avenues and not sticking to what is proven but commonplace.

Rarely you're going to see a pretty naked lady acting as a tab...

1 in 5.

Cristiana is one of my exclusive Patreon models, so I'm not publishing any more photos in the regular social media.
But she is also one of the models I've photographed more, with 5 shootings, so it is a great commitment for me to limit her appearance on Patreon alone.
Still I want to keep her like that for some more time...

I love how she feels at ease and spontaneous in every picture, with no care in the world about her nakedness.

Maybe I could keep her a Patreon exclusive ...

Tainted.

Stainless steel is boring.
I love bronze in watch cases because it shows the passing of time on the outside of the watch, whilst the hands show it on the dial.
The bronze reacts with the skin, and with whatever you throw at it and develops a protective patina that becomes unique for each specific owner and depends by the operating conditions.
But I wanted a photo of this watch when it was still clean and new.

The shooting with Martina gave me a great opportunity to use her skin...

Harsh light.

I like my pictures to be balanced, possibly with medium level of contrast and legibility in both dark and light areas.
So why an I always getting into troubles when I see a ray of sunlight entering from a window?
The contrast is never going to work in these conditions, because the sensor does not have enough latitude to showcase the entire spectrum.
You either have to choose to optimise the shadow areas, or the light areas, or find a balance that is going to ruin legibility in both o...

Merry Christmas!

I've chosen Martina for this year's greetings, and  more specifically this pensive and moody shot we did back in Feb 2021.
She appears alone in this photo, and I guess we're all inclined to keep her company in such a special day.

Photography is fiction, but the beauty of my models is real, and that beauty is what we're after.

Happy Christmas to you all, to Martina (that is surely enjoying herself) and to all my models that we enjoy looking at so much!

Handling Karina with care.

I'm currently working on the shooting I made with this pretty lady, and selecting the pictures, so I thought to fish out another photo that represents the sheer elegance of this woman!
Even if she is not wearing anything at all (apart from the earring), she still looks elegant and graceful.

I've been very lucky in 2022 with my models, not only for the quantity of shootings I managed to make (19), but also for the variety of the models.

Turn around.

Fortunately I never forget to ask the models tu turn around, from time to time.
Actually, they tend to do it by themselves most of the times, and I just have to take advantage of their kindness.
Because the B side is usually as beautiful as the A side, it surely is in Annalisa's case, don't you agree?

What is the color?

It is not easy to identify with certainty the color of a pair of eyes, but in the case of Cristiana we can happily spend hours trying...

The punishment.

I wonder why when we were kids the words: "Off to bed!" Had such a negative meaning...

Nowadays the bed is usually something positive, either for a well deserved rest or, if we're not alone, for some highly desirable sport activities.

How much our point of view can change with age, and how well this photo can illustrate our positive idea of this piece of forniture.
Now, off to bed!

Finally alone.

In a location like Consonno, you cane really feel free to balance your pictures as you wish, as you don't have the limitations of tight spaces.
This is one of the last pictures of the day I spent there with £lisandra, at this time, all the people that were strolling around the premises were gone, leaving us to do our business undisturbed, and that gave us even more freedom of composition.
