Martina is not a creature you could ever hope to keep in a cage, not even a gilded one.
This is what I love of her character, but I guess she might be a complicated lover.
Fortunately I'm a happy married photographer and I can appreciate her beautiful body through my camera, without further complications.

Lot's of people would say that nature needs to be disciplined and there is plenty to trim in this picture, but I think that nature is particularly beautiful when it is wild and untamed, and I hope it stays like that!
The Leica M240 gives an intimate feel, possibly it is for the shorter 50mm lens, or just for the different and less intrusive approach, but it allows to enjoy an immersive experience few cameras can provide.
Also the family portraits on the background shelfs give a familiar look to this picture and the unfinished self embrace makes Sophia more vulnerable than usual.
She is a strong and aggressive woman, but for this brief moment she's allowing us to glimpse into her softer side.

I usually choose the model to show based on how long before she appeared before (Martina is usually one every 3 pictures), then I choose the shooting (not many models have more than one to choose from...), then I scroll through the thumbnails, until I find one picture that stops me on my tracks.

During a shooting, one moment the model has to impress and seduce, appearing like a Wonder Woman, but the next moment she might burst into a laugh.

I've finished retouching Stelladiplastica's shooting, and started on the last I made with Martina (wearing glasses).
Stella might not be the sexiest among my models, but surely she has been a milestone in my work:
- the very first nude shooting of my digital era
- the second shooting took place exactly 4 years (and 3 days) after the first one
- I love her personality, her tattoos, her ability as performer, and we share some friends.

There are so many beautiful pictures of Martina from this sequence, I always wonder how we manage to squeeze valuable material from such unfavourable conditions.
A good lens, capable of softening the unpleasant details and an accurate framing can really make the difference.

I love this wall in the house of my friend and photographer Roberto Bottarelli in Brescia.
I've used it with Martina and with Jiulia and the light coming from the window has always been spectacular.

I've used soo much my 2018 MacBook Pro, that the battery needed changing already.
This meant I had no access to the pictures of the last shooting with Martina for some days, but I was still able to work on the 2013 MacBook Pro for the photoshopping of older shootings.

The Erba shooting with Aria was a peculiar experience, the house she rented was very interesting, but we were not allowed to use the garden or the swimming pool, because the owner was in another part of the house...
Fortunately also the interiors were interesting, and we managed to use some blind spots in the garden and on the terrace.
Most people are giving a hard time to nude models and photographers... 😅but they can't stop us!
The body of Manya is a well tuned machine.
I love to study her muscular structure and compare it to the more strikingly sexy models.
We are lucky, because women come in such a variety of forms.
It's a pity we can't see them all, but I will try to show you as many as possible.
That's the writing on the wall behind Martina, but in Italian "culo" also means bottom, so Martina in this position is consistent with the wording.

I have to turn down the volume from our backstage videos mainly for this reason, but the most delicate conversations are developing off camera.
I'm not religious, so I think about this as my personal, unholy confession.

Acting capabilities are useful for my shootings, and Dovile is very talented in creating a unique feel, even during a cold, rainy day in the middle of August.
Her artistic personality is pretty complex, but she is a great girl to work with, and I was pleased to go along with her performances.
When you have such respect for an artist's performance, you just leave her the freedom of movement and concentrate on documenting the gig as best as you can.

This is one of the few pictures that Sadie has posted from our shooting, only the BW version, back when we were still allowed to use Tumblr without censorship... she also posted this picture on Instagram.
She really is a sensual creature.
Every time she tagged me on IG, I was getting between 200 and 300 new followers.
Good old times! 😅

Back in 2018 I was converting only some of the pictures in monochrome, nowadays I convert all the selected pictures.
I love the slightly uneven tan on Martina's skin, particularly the lighter arm pit and the sunburn décolleté.
In such a single coloured situations, the nuances assume a great importance.
I'm missing this house in Milano, it was a great location!
But, even if I manage to use it again in the future, I would find it changed.
It was borrowed by a friend of mine, and he was saying it's gone through a major renovation.
I made a couple of shootings here, and also some video productions for our company were shot here... great memories.
