Leica M cameras have been photographed in the hands of many celebrities, from movie stars to British Royal Family members.
But this picture is at least as memorable, with the camera hanging lazily from the shoulder of Martina.
It is also one of the few frames from this sequence I can safely upload on Patreon... What a wild shooting, with Martina as inspired as ever.
No one would run away from a paparazzo like this!
In this period I was making only some of the pictures in BW version, these 2 did not qualify, but they look pretty good in color!

The Leica M with the 50 mm lens always provides an intimate view of the model, possibly because it requires to stay nearer, and it includes some of the background, giving a more everyday look to the scene.
At shorter distances the framing inside the viewfinder is not accurate (and I'm not practising enough nowadays), but this photo works pretty well for me.

This old and battered Nikon 105mm f1.8 AI-s is still capable of great performances on the body of Jiulia.
The fact that the lenses are not crystal clear is probably responsible for that misty effect in the highlights that I find so pleasing.
Also the body of Jiulia is not perfect, fortunately, because perfection is just boring!
Sometimes I don't have enough space to play with, and I end up cropping some important detail of the model.
This is the problem of using fixed (mostly) tele focal length in tight spaces.
But if I like the pose or the expression, I take the picture anyway, who knows...
Patreon is a good place to show this imperfect product, the pictures that are never going to be the first choice, but are very pretty nevertheless.
The body of Slim is a beautiful canvas, and she wears it proudly.
I like how the slice of light coming from the window is playing on her body, and how she's positioned right on the edge of it.
I'm pretty sure she was not particularly comfortable wearing this chain, but Miele endured for the full 3 hours of the shooting and we got some pretty strong images for the project "Survivor".

It is so handy to have Martina so frequently in Milan, she didn't manage to get this particular apartment any more (because it is always fully booked), but she does provide the location every time, also some good ones...
