This was my 2nd attempt as the first one went a bit wrong with the "clay" inverting on itself and then me losing the progress I had made. Really happy with how its coming along.
Also, from the neck down its been one whole piece of clay that I've been stretching. Found out I couldn't attach separate spheres but its a fun challenge, ^^
As you can see its in the early stages but last night I was able to form a solid start to it.
Here we see, Damon and PJ at the bar, as the cheetah makes his way behind the bar he notices something is amiss. The work day has been less stressful & not many customers around. The huge polar bear stands behind him as he see's his friend get all huffy and upset over it.

So manage to wip out a set of traps for the big guy.
Still working the ins and outs. For example, the next time I do Siri's ears and fangs, I might just have to use a separate set set of objects.
Little thing I learned about 3D modeling. Similar to modeling clay or Second Life avatars, most of the time, you're going to be adding new sphere/objects in and adjusting those to your liking, rather than just straight making a model out of one sphere. Allows more access to customizing...

Thanks to a friend last weekend, I found out about a free 3D maker program called Sculptris and was finally able to get some time to play around with it. This took me a couple hours to do but I'm really enjoying the ease of it. Expect to see more of this and it does have a colors option, so we'll see how far I can get with it, ^^
Also, here are some doodles of the silly and hip cheetah (atleast, he thinks he's hip, hehe). Was gauging there height difference. Thoughts???

During the sketch stream yesterday, I doodled this up and as I finished up, I really enjoyed the look of it and saw potential here. So next month I'll be doing a comic of these two: Damon (Polar Bear) & Preston or PJ (cheetah).
They are both bar tenders at an beachside bar
(still working on a title) that is partners with Sirius/Arc's nighgtclub CHUBBS where Damon is known for his quiet charm and Preston being the social butterfly (a times a very chatty butterfly).
That's what this huge kitty does to himself once in awhile. See's just how long he can go before he lets it go. I'd say he's been going a couple hours and those nuts sure are ready to unload. The poor kitty just loves to punish himself.
