Good morning everyone! It's Sunday, and my week away from Cyber Dreams and Victor of Tucson has almost come to an end. Starting on Tuesday, I'll begin posting Victor Book 7, and on Wednesday, Cyber Dreams Book 5 will begin.
That said, I did get some more work done on my side project. I'll post a few chapters today :)
Here on Patreon, there will be 25 chapters for tier two and 35 for tier three prior to my RR launch in...

Okay, here we go, folks! The end of Book Four! I hope you enjoy it :)
Oops - forgot to mention: Now that the book is done, I'm taking a week to let my brain rest before I dive into book 5. Next chapter will be delivered on 12/6/23.
Cheers!

UPDATE 11/27:
I took some feedback and changed some things.
1. I brought Rellia to Sea Keep. She rode ahead on her vidanii. She was there to argue with Victor a little and then agreed to plant the stone near the Sea. I thought she deserved to be there for it.
2. I tried to create in-lore reasons why Victor can't rush off through the stone as...

Happy Friday, everyone! Enjoy today's chapter. Epilogue Part Two will be delivered on Monday, then I'm taking a 1-week break from Cyber Dreams. :)
Love to hear your feedback! If you think I messed up the SOA card, let me know.

Thank you for all of your support, everyone! Here we are on chapter 6.62, and, no, we aren't done. See you on Sunday with another one! I'm looking forward to your feedback~

Victor waited until all of the soldiers who’d been lined up at the stone had collected their prizes and moved away. He’d hoped to be able to interact with the relatively small, slowly spinning System artifact without making too much of a scene, but h...

Here's today's delivery. Okay, I've skipped ahead a little more, and you all are just seeing some aftermath. I'm curious if this feels way too unsatisfying or if you're okay with how things are wrapping up. I figure another couple of chapters and book 4 will be done. Feel free to mention any loose ends you're still wondering about after this chapter. I'll try to make sure I don't miss anything :)

Well, I know I joked, but . . . will we wrap this up before 6.66? I'm mostly joking - I think I need 1 or 2 more. 3, tops. LOL
Enjoy,

“You do?” Lam leaned forward, hope in her eyes. Victor wanted to comfort her, to give her good news, but he felt such an overwhelming sense of frustration and defeat that he had a hard time keeping it out of his voice.

Sometimes, when you know what you want to happen in a story, it's not enough. Sometimes, it's hard to figure out how to portray the events that are living in your head. What's worth showing "on-screen," and what should happen behind a curtain? I struggled when it came to starting this chapter, and I hope it's satisfying enough. I hope it makes sense, at the very least.
I hope I left some vagueness to the details that allow you to fill in the blanks ...

Here we go! Another chapter or two to wrap this one up, I think.

Riding on Guapo, it only took a few hours before Victor cleared the area covered in ash by the volcano’s eruption. Even so, the sky remained dark, the sun obscured by the ash in the air, so much so that it felt like he was riding under heavy cloud cover. He might have thought that was the case if not for the gritty, stinging nature of the breeze t...

14 – Unexpected Reunion
When they stepped through the copper door, they found themselves in a circular, stone-walled room with a slightly vaulted ceiling. The stones over their head by the door were about seven feet high, but at the center of the room rose to about ten feet. Nothing remarkable was in the smooth basalt space other than the two me...

It's Saturday! How about a couple of Vainglory chapters?
If you like this story and are interested in my progress, here's an update:
- I've written 29 chapters, but I still need to edit 15-29.
- Today I'll post 13 and 14.
- I'm working on getting 35 chapters done before I post to RR, so, over the next few weeks I'll write 6 more chapters and then edit all the ones I have...

Rather than attack or try to charge past him, Hector stymied Victor’s desire to fight by hovering a good twenty yards away and shouting, “Fool! You’ve conjured ruin upon us all! Let me leave, and you can rule over this wasted land!” Victor didn’t reply but shifted, putting himself squarely before the portal. His grin wi...

Thanks for all the feedback and help. :)
I changed a tiny part of 4.49. I agreed that it was kind of crazy for Mary Moon to be smirking at Juliet as she stomped in wearing the Atlas suit. Here's the new wording:
The kneeling pirates shrank back. The two synths watched her placidly, and Mary Moon stood staring, mouth agape, eyes furiously darting left to right, like a rat caught in a cage. “I said kneeling!...

Through the smoky, red fire of his fury, Victor could see figures on the long, arching span that crossed the raging waters. He didn’t care what they were doing. The idea that they might be planning something nefarious to break the b...

Juliet made quick progress through the pirate vessel at first, steamrolling a couple more intersections where Mary’s crew, human and synth, tried to stop her, but then, quite a bit slower than Juliet would have expected, they locked down the ship, closing all the bulkhead doors. Up to that point, she’d been operating almost insti...

We're a month away from the official KU and Audible release! That means I had to yank these chapters off Royal Road to appease my publisher. That said, here's a copy of the manuscript from Royal Road in case anyone wants to read it before the release date of 12/12/23.

As Victor raced through the camp, building up momentum, planning to leap the fortification between himself and the distant, gigantic form of the skeletal dragon, he berated himself for being a fool. It was obvious the camp had been overrun at one point, obvious the soldiers had managed to rally, but not without cost—bodies were everywhere, scattered among the piles of pale, naked, ghoulish undead. How much ...

While Juliet busied herself, loading the ammunition magazines into the canisters on the Atlas suit’s arms, she asked, “Do you still have the code for Grave’s watchdog program?”

“That’s not happening,” Molly Moon’s voice was terse and clipped, and Juliet grinned, listening to it. The pirate captain had seemed tense and irritated from the moment the stealth ship had connected Juliet to her. She wondered what sort of plan she might have thrown a wrench into by not docilely riding back as planned.
“It’s happening. I sc...

Dear tier-two patrons,
I just finished the last chapter of Book 6 and posted it for tier three. That means I'm going to take a 1-week break from writing and posting Victor of Tucson chapters. On Tuesday, 12/7/23, I'll begin posting again, so that means your next chapter will open on that day, too. I have fun stuff planned for Victor in Book 7, and I hope I'll see you all along for the ride!

I think you can guess from the title that this isn't a cozy chapter. I know; we all love seeing our heroic MC kick ass, but sometimes things don't go his way. I feel like we've been a long time without a real setback . . . I'm not saying I want to torture Victor for being successful, but I do want readers to feel that our fictional world can be harsh, even if you're a badass titan-blood. I appreciate your feedback!

A combination of Angel’s seriousness and the pressure on her leg finally helped Juliet to calm her hysterics and focus on her situation’s gravity. When she twisted in her seat to look under the console, she saw that the cockpit floor had deformed, bending upward and forcing the metal compartment that housed her left leg to compress and come apart at the plasteel joint. The bottom half was p...
