I'll revisit some of my favorite Art Styles and characters I've done these past few years. I'm gonna be busy for the few next months (3-4) so it's a good way to stay active on socials without spending too much time on it.

CW Colombia (WIP 4)

Your daily dose of Colombia! Narrowing it down slowly but surely. Starting to try out some of the colors too (she's one of the fully/mostly black outfit characters with NZ, Australia and N.Korea). Looking for a sober look, like a uniform. "She's probably going to work" is the type of vibe I wanna give. So yeah, might remove the flashy pink idk yet (especially since the horns and gem on her head gonna be colorful too).

Daily Colombia update lol! The struggle lmao. I got back to the original haircut design I made in August (if you remeber the post from 2 days ago).

She has a better vibe (young innocent lady, without looking childish or like a kid), but I'm still not convinced >>>:(((

CW Colombia last study sketches

Spent the night trying to make things organic, looking for flow, making the different features make some sense together. Still not including any references, just working around shapes and color balance. I usually don't do this step but after so long I feel like it was necessary for this poor Colombia. The key word? CW Colombia (WIP) + August rough sketches

You read that well, I started to work on Colombia this summer lol. It's now common that I mentally design my characters months/years before their releases. But when I actually start to sketch it's usually a matter of few days/weeks.

Colombia actually has an important (comedy) role to play in the series so I struggled to capture a specific emotion: between fear, surprise, paranoia and exasperation (all that because of a specific someone I didnt add to the sketch yet lmao).

Thanks for your help on the design! I made a sacrifice: the pose was more important than making her outfit fully visible (lol). I was already the case with her first version (people where struggling for the Draw This In Your Style, since they had to guess some parts lmao).
I don't mind actually. It's part of her identity. This pose. This is and always has been Spain 🗣️🔥🇪🇸

I'm struggling... HOLY!! The fact is Spain is leading me to an completely different exercise than usual. Designing from scracth is one thing. But REdesigning a character that already has its own purpose, story, personality forces me to take in count a lot of settings people might underestimate.

I cant pick features/colors/accessories that won't match her traits. The main issue I had with the first design was Spain not feeling like a warr...

9AS Remastered (1/3)

As I'm making actual prints out of m 9 Art Styles series I decided to revisit ALL of them as some versions aged like milk lol.

You can expect to get them all posted here within this week with 1 to 3 refreshed versions per character (except Gojo, this one was perfect haha). I'm banishing my Zenitsu version and Naruto's Jojo version into the shadow realm as I speak!

Real Life Sized France and Japan (cardboard cutout)

Been working on this one for a hot minute now lol. I should receive it within a week and I'll post here the final product (it's meant to decorate my booth in an upcoming convention in Paris).
