turns out a miss judgement has set me back a bit on the 1000 oscillator mega drone! but tomorrow is gunna be the day to turn it around, I recon by the video ill have 4 rows up. sadly the jack cables have not arrived so I wouldn't be able to test it all anyways!!!!

Today Im going to attempt to build on the idea of the Atari punk console, ill announce the winner of the competition at the start, then explain what im thinking of doing, then breadboard a standard Atari punk console, then after that hopefully try out an idea I had called the Atari Atari punk punk console. 9PM BST.

Robotic arm sort of worked! the joints work in such a way that the harder it needs to work the more friction there is in the system, which didn't make for the most moveable hand, if you have ever used a power glove you'll know how un flexible they are!! next time. better robot hand! haha.

so im working on getting the powerglove video out this weekend (hopefully, it may not get done in time and I go to plan B). but im concentrating on just the fingers at the minute, which have bend sensors in them. just long thin flexible circuit boards with thin slats of a material that when its pulled slightly apart increases in resistance. well anyway, they give a voltage change of about 0.4v. so im making an interface circuit for each finger. bipolar LED's! a little gem, I never really found ones I liked the colour combo of, but learnt to love these fogged red and green ones! they are really cool if you haven't come across bipolar LED's they are basically 2 LED's wired backwards to each other in a single package. damn snazzy to show bipolar voltages. plenty of stuff! turns out when I built the mega drone last and I thought it was the mosfets, it was me being a plonker and mis specifying a resistor, I misread an orange band for a red band! oh how the hours flew by before I had realised my mistake! what a plonker. I hadn't mentioned in this vid but I built a mosfet test circuit, found a couple of busted ones!! just an led and a few resistors if anyone wants a schematic I can draw out in the next vlog.
