I feel it's been a while since I've done something really "Raunchy" so I went with a simple concept.

Shantae ahegao (Clean sketch)

Another one based on a 3DS doodle I made.

It was originally going to be solo play with her, but I was unsure whether or not to include an anon dude in the picture, so right now it's kinda of a mixture of both.

I'm still indecisive about adding a background. Most people probably won't care if it's there or not, but I guess it also adds something extra to the scene.

Xochi

In the end I decided to settle with the design with her eyes hidden, because  I think it gives her a more mysterious aura.

I've been calling her "Xochi" because I think it'll be an easier name to remember for everyone, despite that the correct way to shorten her name would probably be "Xochitl" or "Xochitzin" (a more reverential form)

Her name is a compound of two Nahuatl words "Xochitl" which translates as Flower and "Queztalli", which I think could roughly be interpret...

I've kinda wanted to draw something with Tenten for a while, but as you might guess she's not exactly the most requested character out there.

Will I finish it? maybe, if manage to figure out a Background

Xochi

Ok. I think finally found a design that combines a good number of elements from the original myth and culture into a character I can actually be redraw without losing my mind XD

If I wear to dress her using modern clothing, I would always use the headpiece, that's why I intentionally design it to resemble a headset, modern yet classic.

As some of you might know, I've been working for a while on a design inspired on a Aztec deity (Link)

I decided to completely remove the robe for this sketch, because looking at "fashion" references from that period, I couldn't find anything about people using robes to cover their heads on that era.

Especially deities seemed to be depicted wearing elaborated head gears decorated with feath...

Mercubbus

So here it is, I hope you like it :)

The most complicated parts about this artwork I'd say it was the crown and the columns in the BG. I had to use a bunch of rulers and guidelines to make them look decent.

For now, let's just keep it a secret for Meru until I share it publicly. I bet she'll love it :D

Yes, I definitely prefer the control I have over the strokes on Clip Studio. 

For still being a relatively rough sketch, it looks very good on it's own.

I'm not entirely sure if it's the differences in brushes, or how each software handles the pressure sensitivity of the tablets but I'm definitely liking the look of clip studio roughs better than the previous example.

I'll probably do them exclusively on CS for now on.

Tablet arrived

Good news! the new tablet arrived safe and sound and I’m making the first test 😊 As I imagine I had to pay an extra of $165.41 of import cost (slighty less than I expected)
