So here's the final artwork with the character we designed together. White hair ended up being the popular choice with 11 votes followed by option B with 6 points.

It took a while, but I hope you found the process fun and you liked the final result :)

I'm not sure if we'll do another design with this same process, but right now we'll just focus on this character to see what things we can do with her. If we see the need for it, we might try it again in the future.

I won't lie, I actually kinda like the way it looks in rough, I'm not sure if I'll get the same result when I clean it up so I wanted it to show it to you before I made any changes.

Sorry it took me a while, I got sick during the weekend so I couldn't come back sooner, but I'm back now.

Since we couldn't settle the first time we did this, I thought it could be fun if we opened this last poll to the public so we can have a clear winner among the options.

Keila new OC (Hair color)

This one has to be one of the hardest one to decide, personally I think all of them look good but we need to settle for one.

I completely avoided purple because we don't want to make a Shantae clone by accident. she already shares many characteristics with her, so we don't want to get even close.

I figured it would be easier talk about this new OC if we give her a name, so I decided to combine a few ideas in a poll to see if you see one that fits her well.

I was going to pick one myself, but since we already did most of the process through polls I figured it would fit the theme of this character in particular.

Personally I think that if this girl is athletic a slim figure could work, long legs, moderate bust size... (A, and B choices) Or we could do the total opposite, go for a big amazonian girl, the type that would crush a melon with her legs (D and F)

We could also combine both and do a girl with a moderate size bust and thicc wide hips.

There's currently a tie between option B and F in the eye type (Link) so I need either an extra vote or a new poll to make a decision.  I don't vote in the polls so I don't unbalance the results.

I know probably not all of you have logged in the site recently, I'll give it a week to see if something changes, but if it the results stay the same, I might have to open the polls for people on the outside because, I don't think I can make a clear choice with 2 votes on some options... XD

Another shantae flipnote

Based on a short loop I shared previously: Link 

While the results are okay, I still think getting the right color is pretty tricky on flipnote. Just to get the skin tone I had to layer 3 types of red. 

On the other hand, being able to draw on the screen makes it more intuitive and natural.

New OC part 3

With 4 votes "elf girl" is the winner. 

I still need more to make a first sketch so now we'll move to overall appearance, age wise.

Since she's an elf supposedly unable to age psychically we won't be able to get past the adult woman look,  sorry if you wanted a middle aged hot woman XD

This options doesn't define her anatomy yet, but rather the overall direction of the appearance. 

Lewd comic strip

I tried to experiment doing a lewd colored comic, by picking a friend's character for stylistic choices. I also tried to make it as close as possible to the original source.

I was mentioned by my friend that the character is kind of ambitious, and money is one of her motivations. She's also not the most sexually open character of the group, so I just wondered, how much money it would take for her to seal this kind of deal?

New OC part 2

With 4 votes "In-between" option was the winner, which means we'll keep it in almost human, no exotic skin colors, extra appendices, no unusual eyes, or anything.

They might seem very few votes, but this is just the first attempt, probably next time I'll narrow down the categories to handful of choices instead of open ended ones.

We might try to expand the options to the public next time depending on the results.

New OC part 1

She should be:

*In between option are races that are close to humans with a few little differences like pointy ears.

I think the best way we could do it is that I share characteristics through polls and the one with most votes wins.

Body type: petite, normal, thicc, extra thicc.

Hair: Short, medium, long.

Personality: Gentle, naughty, tsundere

Hair color:....and so on.

An artwork I plan to use as a protest for the removal of almost of my Shantae artworks from Deviantart.

Granted I wasn't planning on getting my Tumblr obliterated as well so that changed things a bit.

Tumblr down (Part 2)

Just a small update. and no, my blogs haven't been reactivated yet.

I've hearing a couple of versions about the Tumblr purge issue: one states that Tumblr removed all NSFW content due to a bot that was aimed to remove Porn bot blogs and were juts caught in the crossfire, and the other version is that this has been partly intentional, because they wanted to get rid of all the people that post inappropriate content to get the app back on the apple store.
