Since I started working on Maids and Maidens, my plan always was to have chaptered release. Where each version ends in a certain story point, and in some cases, in a small-cliffhanger. The goal was to make sure each release ends at a point that makes sense from a storytelling perspective. But, that often means new updates taking longer than expected.
There's also many examples, where new small devs find more exposure and support if they release updates that are smaller but more regular....

A quality of life improvement that will be added in the next update - Dialogue Font Selector. This, along with the 'Dialogue box selector / opacity slider' that has been already added, will hopefully make reading the game a more pleasant experience.
If you have any font suggestions, let me know in the comments. If I like the font too, and if it's free for commercial use, I will add it to the game.

Sorry for being completely silent over the past month. This has been a hard one. v0.4 ended up being a lot bigger and complex than I estimated. This update will be almost as big as v0.2 and v0.3 combined (in terms of word count and number of renders/animations). Which meant more work and lots of sleepless nights. It would be a bonus episode, sort of like the MC having a random one-night-stand with a girl who is not part of the main game. This would only be released on Patreon for my backers and nowhere else (as long as it doesn't get leaked).
But of course, this would mean spending dev time on making it. So, I would only make it if the majority of my patrons are okay with it.
