Here's a fun little bonus we've been working on, off and on, behind the scenes!  We enjoyed that first panel of page 30 of the comic so much we decided to make it a standalone pinup.  Of course we had to add a couple of other angles of Penny in order to do so.  Think they turned out well, don't you?

We have a little tradition here at Naked Penny.  Every year on our anniversary, we continue this fun little series of images inspired by Jonathan Coulton's classic song "The First of May."  Here we have the aftermath of the previous two images, showing the awkward post-coital walk back out of this park for Penny and Artemis.  Wonder if they'll ever live THIS one down?

EDIT: We made a VERY minor tweak to this page in the form of Tammy's word bubble in the second panel.  We felt it wasn't quite legible enough, so we made it a bit bigger and slightly shifted its position.

Page 29 WIP (Spoiler Warning, I guess??)

Giving all patrons a rare behind the scenes look (emphasis on behind) at the production of this page because it's running more than a little late.  This is what Team Penny's current collaboration looks like, with the pencils mostly finished other than a few extra touches Jonas is adding prior to inking.  This page WOULD be further along had we not had a few setbacks, including some of our team having some nasty side effects of their recent vaccinations.  But(t) we're still on t...

Penny Time-Lapses?

Dear Naked Penny Patrons,

Would you be interested in time-lapse videos of the creation of Penny art? Clip Studio Paint (the primary tool of our artists) now allows this, so it's quite possible. The downside is that using the time-lapse function makes CSP's files substantially larger, so our artists would need a little extra funding to pay for bigger storage options. So this would probably have to be an unlockable goal down the road. What do you think? Let us know in the survey!

Just in case anyone is worried about us slipping too far out of our schedule: we're still playing catch up to return to our weekly updates.  Right now the art team is hard at work on the next TWO pages more or less simultaneously, which is helping us build our buffer/backlog so we can keep the flow of updates coming more regularly for the foreseeable future... and maybe, just maybe, reach a point where we can update MORE than once a week...

In the meantime hopefully all of you will...

So a lot of people have asked, understandably, why it's taken us so long to get back to the comic and why we haven't made a lot of news updates about that.  The latter is really on me (Stoker) more than anything else.  I hate making posts telling people that there's no news to report, but I really should have done something like that anyway, since the radio silence has been deafening.  BUT as all Patrons can see, the new page is all sketched out and in the process of being inke...
