The overall writing in Engage has not improved for me the more I play it, but I do really like Yunaka. She's cute, her personality is fun but has depth, and she's a thief (I have a soft spot for sneaky ladies, whether they be kunoichi or cat burglars).

Here's hoping that more fun characters pop up as I keep playing! 😌🙏

Maybe it says something about my personal proclivities, but I didn't notice until I was completely finished that there's zero female nudity in here, lol. Still trying out that new style! Spent yesterday filling some pages of my sketchbook with ideas, and one that stuck with me was Dizzy -- there's a lot going on with her design, so I thought it'd be a good opportunity to simplify and stylize it a bit. Dizzy cute!

Lately, I've found myself really wanting to push my art in some different directions -- one of them is to get more stylized. I was thinking of stuff like PSG and Takehito Harada's work...something with simple figures, but still (hopefully) appealing and with strong shapes. I spent a couple days studying and then decided to test what I'd learned by drawing a Tharja without any references to fall back on. It was kind of a struggle this week, to be honest, but I did my best!
