Jessica's Reaction to being on TED's Facebook Page

Everybody – everybody – everybody!!!

TED reuploaded Jessica's TEDx talk to their Facebook page and it has been seen more than 227K times!  It is CRUSHING all the other videos they posted today!

Had to capture Jess's reaction for you.  We are both stunned as all get out, and trying to prepare for the influx of new brains into the community.

Please excuse our horribly messy house, we just got back from the Costa Rica trip (for the ADHD and dogs episode!) and J...

360 Video Test!

Hi brains!

Edward here – Jessica and I are on a trip for a new video we're doing for Essential phones!  We'll post the link to the video when it's up (look for lots of DOGGOS), but we wanted to do a test of the 360 system first, so we thought we'd update you!

IF YOU'RE WATCHING THIS ON YOUR PHONE –
The video may look super weird and distorted – this can be fixed by copying the link below and pasting it into your mobile web browser, which s...

Extra Goodies: Brett Thornhill Interview pt 2

Hey there brains!

Edward here – Brett had a LOT of great things to say, and we couldn't fit all of it into the episode, so here is some more.  :)

Obviously, this is a rougher cut than normal, but Jessica has told me you guys don't mind a bit of rough around the edges for Patreon content *hides eyes, runs away*

Brett will be in the comments at the YouTube page for a little while – if you post a question there, he might answer it!

BUT – do Brett a favo...

NONSENSE: Jess takes the Sorting Hat Quiz

Meanwhile, at How to ADHD headquarters...

Almost finished with this week's video, but at the last minute, we got slammed with an unexpected Question Time question – and had to move fast.

If you want to take the quiz to see which Hogwarts house you'd be in, here's the link:

Patreon-exclusive Hannah Hart Q&A!

Hello brains!

Yesterday we shot a collab video with Hannah Hart (technically two of them, one for her channel and one for ours) – and while we were there, we got to ask her some of the questions our Patreon brains posted in the comments!

If you didn't see request for questions in time, don't worry – it was a last-second idea by Jessica, and Hannah was kind enough to hang around and give us some great answers!

Enjoy, brains!

For those of you following my writing adventure, the final draft :)

This is the final draft! Submitting it to Healthline now, wish me luck (and yeah...seeing as it's 4 in the morning, this article isn't far off today's mark).

Sneak peek at my writing process!

Hello Patreon Brains!

I'm in the middle of writing an article for Healthline about "a day in the life of ADHD" and thought I'd share my current draft. Not only is this a chance to see a piece of my writing before it's done, the second half of it basically  describes my writing process :)

It's kind of a funny assignment, because I don't think any two ADHD days look alike, but I tried to capture everything from the attention regulation issues to sleep issues to moments of ADHD b...

FULL Dr. Hallowell Interview

Hey Patreon Brains!

Edward here – this is full Dr. Hallowell interview (minus a quick stop/start in the middle for technical glitches, I believe).  Just a small gift from us to you, as thanks for all your support.  When Jess says "thanks to the Patreon brains" every episode – we sincerely mean it.  You guys are what make this channel possible. :)

As it mentions in the video, there are some overlaps in talking where Skype lagged a bit, but that'll be smoothed ...

Even BIGGER mental health panel!

For this one, they added TomSka, Hartbeat, and Hannah Hart -- and gave Annie Elainey a break, since she was on 3 other panels already.

This one was on the Twitter Community Stage and we got to sit on cool couches!

Again, you're the first to see it -- we'll post it publicly sometime tomorrow :)

VidCon 2017 mental health panel!!

Hello Patreon Brains!

Since this literally would not have been possible without your support, you get to be the first to see it :)

This is recorded on an iPhone with a tripod named Edward, so it's rough and a bit shaky and wayyyy too long -- but it was an AMAZING panel. Check it out when you have time! (Or cleaning to do and would like to be distracted) :D

Not just a perfect, flawless, blameless reason to have pizza.

First try at making a song!

Hi there, brains!

This is literally her first recording, made just after she finished the lyrics.

Makin' up songs

Hi Patreon brains!

Well; I've been playing the ukelele for a few months now and decided to give writing songs for the channel a try. And I realized something super scary: I've spent a lot of time learning how to be on camera, how to do research and even how to write. I also have a lifetime of learning what it's like to have ADHD. After a year and a half of experience, I'm pretty good at making episodes.

I might be *awful* at writing songs. Like...*awful* awful.

But hey, wh...
