Spider-May Page 22

Probably the longest I've spent on a page so far (apart from page 3) so wanted to share it by itself (and I haven't done any after this yet lol).

I tried to use Chatgpt for sound effects and stuff as that's really my weak department, it wasn't as useful as I had expected but all good I guess.

Hi guys, so recently been trying out the NLA editor in Blender, it was a whole level of headache as I had to kinda wrap my head around how to rethink animations etc. But someone recommended an add-on called Animation Layers which is meant to make it more simpler and innuitive, so bought it and tried it out. it's not bad! I can certainly see myself using this going forward. I think it's still a bit hard for me to change from one pose to another, i.e the stuff that happens in between the poses. I see a lot of animators doing lewd stuff that's only like 10 seconds on a loop and it's pretty disappointing to me,  it's like a lick of some ice cream, you want to eat the whole thing lol. Anyway! Hope you dig it! this is kinda what I have planned for the March Patreon poll winner animation, something a free-use/bored scenario.

Rio (Spiderverse) Model WIP

Just wanted to share with you guys what I got from the modeler, I think she's coming out pretty well! I already have a short story in mind! Though it might be tricky for me to make environments around the character as it's very stylized, so will have to see what I can do around then. Anyway, thanks to you guys I'll be able to afford spending more on model commissions etc!

Hi guys, wanted to share my first commission I received recently :) Hope you like it! and thanks to the commissioner for the opportunity as as well!  

If you are interested in a comm (I still need to do a comm sheet @_@):

- $40 per scene with 2 characters.

- $80 per scene if:  I need to combine models and kitbash if models dont exist etc or if it involves more than 2 characters/complex.

- I'll be able to provide 3-4 angles per scene, edited etc.

Sorry these took a little while, I was a bit burned out already on these lol, the formating/type part really sucks the joy out of it lol, but hopefully should be able to push forward now!

March Poll

Hey guys, unfortunately wasnt able to do any poll for Feb because I was still working on the May comic for Jan, which kinda blew up into a bigger project than I had thought. But for March I'm unsure if I can do anything big like that so I thought I could try an animation! Maybe like a minute long, nothing toooo complex but something that I can handle. I have some ideas below that i'd like to try so please select the one you'd like best!

Spider-May Page 3 (Retroactively/ Flashback)

I wanted to do a quick flashback of May agreeing to Peter's request in the first place, mainly so I could get her into some fancy clothes lol, but man this took longer than expected @_@ but hey now I have some assets of May in fancy clothes looking real nice for some extra stuff I guess :) So this is page 3 now and had to push forward the other pages a bit, it's not too much of a problem except a little time consuming which eats away at the project even more lol, ah well.

I don't think I can post everyday but hopefully be able to pump them out periodically. Also hope the dialogue is okay for you guys and not tooo slow, I think it might be annoying to some people lol, but I like the back and forth, it's one of my fav parts of this whole thing, the convincing to do it part.

Lilith x Hunter x Nico x Magik (Midnight Suns)

I commissioned models for the Hunter x Lilith from Midnight Suns ages ago but have barely used them so wanted to use them with these 2 since.. they're from the same game after all lol, ( a game which I haven't yet played @_@)

Anyway, enjoy! I dunno if the background is a bit too grim dark but I figured it would be cool since Lilith is like a baddie she would have a pool of bodies I guess :/

I added in a borderless version along with some zoomed in versions, I really enjoy editing in loose hair and stuff now, it's a huge pain for comic panels since I'll have to do a lottt but for these small works it's really fun, I think it sells the idea a lot.

Mirabel vs Hogwarts Fem Ghost Squad

I wanted to play around with the character Mirabel from Hogwarts Legacy, thought she's really cute, man it toook for ever!!! to get this to this stage, I wanted to use cycles to give it a really nice finish with the lighting, and the ghosts shader I wanted to have it sorta dissapear near the bottom, like a gradual fade, but it toook sooo long to figure out, also cycles just hates my computer and the denoiser doesnt want to play ball etc, so I just let it render for hours over night (2 nights!) with trial and error and finally thought it came out okay :) I think there would have been easier ways like compositing and stuff, but I'm a bit of a noob in that department, so maybe next time! 

Spider-May WIP

Just wanted to share a page I was working on that I really liked, it's not yet finished with editing and stuff, but I really like these 'montage' pages, feels like theyre really good with slowing down the pace of the story to keep the reader 'in the moment' kinda vibe? anyway, finally working on the formating/text stage, hopefully some pages to show you guys soon! 

Spider-May Cover (+ Variant Cover)

It's pretty much kind of a callback to Spider-Mom lol.

The whole MilesxRio story came from me playing around with a MayxPeter story way back in AiDungeon days, the story was sooooo goood. I incorporated a lot of those elements into Spider-Mom 1&2, but these two were kind of the inspiration.

Anyway, spent a while giving May her own spidersuit! I was never that knowledgeable in actually editing things, like vertices and stuff, but I managed to spend quite a while on it and it came out pretty nice I thought! wanted to go for a sleeveless look mixed in with MJ's spinneret costume. Also the Spidey here is basically the ultimate universe (comics) spidey, just a little older. 

Anyway, stay tuned! 

Mrs. Morales - Rio x Phin Short Comic

Hey guys, hope you dig it! I hope to add more eventually, lots of stuff piling up so getting a little crazy lol.

I think with making adult stuff is just doing whatever runs your own motor, do you get what i mean? instead of chasing stuff that get clicks or eyeballs, just do what you would like to see, this is kinda obvious but sometimes it's good to remind yourself. Like this kinda stuff (I dont even know what it's called lol) is not as common  as I initially thought, so figured I'd try it out and I think it came out okay! But mannn, the formating/editing stuff is such a joy killer, I'm not looking forward to the big comics I got planned @___@

I really wanted to do something with this, it was going to be relatively simple but I got an idea that I want to do, basically just a small batch of images, no real story, but progression between the images. stay tuned! 

May in February WIP

Hey guys! Been working on the May mini comic that won the poll a few weeks ago! I was kinda side tracked by short stuff because I couldn't spend a lot of time on the comp to focus on the big stuff, but recently stuff has settled down so was able to work on it a little bit :)

luckily I was actually working on this months ago that spun (heh) into christmas across the spiderverse, so i reused parts of that and decided to expand it slightly. It'll still be a very short comic so don't expect any spidermom level stuff, and I'm thinking it won't be like.. sex, sex, just some foreplay stuff since it'll be the first time for both of them.

also for more background this was actually a series of ai images I'd done months ago featuring may, I still think those images came out really really nice, but I'm not sure if people are interested in seeing ai images anymore (I'm not personally lol).

anyway, hopefully out by end of next week 🫠

Ms Marvel x Black Widow WIP

Hey guys, I havent been able to work on stuff properly since I've had some guests over + outta the house a lot this past week, but wanted to share some stuff I managed to squeeze in. Still lots of stuff to edit and do, but I'm proud that I basically kitbashed a whole kamala khan model, with Ik rig and everything, it's not perfect but I'll be able to make some cool stuff with it soon hopefully!

New Haircut

Hey guys, so been working on the big comic and I managed to give Debbie a new hair style based on flash back scene in the show, thought it looked really cute (and was within my simple modeling capabilities) and wanted try it out. Not sure when in the story it'll be used, but hopefully sometime! 

Solarfire - (Sunfire x Blackfire)

Hi guys, had this idea impromptu but I worked on it for the past 2 days and really liked how it turned out! I was gonna add sweat/fog and stuff but I dunno how the space/science of it works up there lol so decided not to. But the general gist of it was they were doing it/fighting in orbit, with Blackfire being the dom. If you guys get time you should wiki both of these characters, this could totally be canon knowing what blackfire put poor sunfire through :( (but this is consensual for reference, I'm not at all into non-con stuff). 

(I also added a few alternate angles of some of the positions.)

Milfality?? - Mortal Kombat (Sindel x Sonya x Cassie x Kitana)

Hey guys! I reaaally enjoyed doing these as the models themselves are very fun and easy to use. The whole idea/inspiration came from watching https://twitter.com/doublenyl 's animations, especially the SindelxSonyaXCassie one, I figured this would be kinda like an alternate future/sequel/epilogue where (bear with me lol) Sonya warms up to Sindel and Sindel falls in love with her prisoner etc and they end up marrying and have joint family thing. Kinda stupid but that was the vibe, like bratty cassie and kitana who fight each other all the time and these two moms trying to make them get along. ANYWAYS lol, enjoy. I do have plans to make one more collage so far.

( Also I rendered this in cycles and honestly its such a pain, I really need a better computer graphics card, but the only problem is I need to upgrade everything If I get a better card which is a nightmare in this economy. So I might try to stick with eevee more, even if it wont be 100% as good as cycles, it just produces the best result for time involved for me. )

PSS I also uploaded a higher resolution version below, might do this going forward if you guys are interested.

PSSS I'll also do a close up and alternate angles view later, but rendered in cycles most likely.

Animation - Memories (Catwoman Variant)

Hey guys, heres a small variant for the Martha Wayne animation, it's just the same animation but with Martha wearing the catwoman costume :)

It's a little finicky with some clipping but I thought it was fun, enjoy!
