OK, so it's been 8 days since the accident during martial arts that busted (didn't break, luckily) my hand, and at last the swelling in has gone down somewhat and I have a bit more mobility than before, way ahead of when the doc said it'd be. It's still in a brace, and the tendons are still strained and in need of rest, so I won't be doing multiple posts per day as I had been before the accident for a while.

Not-So-Busted Hand Update!

Hey guys, it's been about a week since the last update so I thought I'd let you guys know what's going on.
My cast has been changed, I'm now wearing a somewhat more flexible one with better freedom to move my hands. I've tried drawing again, and it seems to be going quite well. I can't do it for too long or too often, lest I end up doing further strain to my tendons (same with typing, I'm supposed to restrict computer use to a minimum).

It's not broken!

Huzzah!!! So, I had the appointment with my doctor, got an x-ray and my hand's NOT broken. Not a huge surprise, but definitely a relief. Not entirely sure when I'll be back to creating artwork, likely it'll take about 5 weeks to fully heal. Whether I'll be able to draw before then is up in the air, which sucks REALLY bad.

If you guys want to pull your pledges in the meantime, I completely understand. It's not fair that you continue to pay me while I cannot follow through on commitments...

Hand injury

So, in an accident during martial arts, I have ended up with an injury to my right hand. The doctor I went to said it's likely not to be broken, but there's extreme swelling and bruising and I cannot move three of my fingers properly. Seeing as how that's the hand I draw with and I can't even grip the Wacom pen properly, it's gonna put the kibosh on art until it's healed up and I can take this brace off. I'm not entirely sure how long that's going to be, but I hope it's going to be soon.

Been somewhat distracted by some real-life stuff recently, but rest assured lots more art is coming :D
You might notice a lot of details (mostly face) have been changed since the sketch. Honestly, besides the ears, she looked way too much like a bunny character and not enough like a mouse, so I shook up her facial anatomy some, in the hopes of making her more mouse-like. Hope that worked :3
