Sisters
Samantha and Margot are half-sisters with the same dad, and she's a pure-blood vampire who's 109 yrs old. Before Leah came along, she is one of the very few people Margot has formed a close attachment to. Sam might be young too, but she’s old enough to remember the war with werewolves, so she’s definitely not a fan of them. Ofc Sam doesn't like Leah at all, but she wasn’t planning on hurting her—at least not until she found out what Leah has done to her little sister.

Both characters, despite not being human, are figures who explore and grapple with human nature.
Ripley 8 is caught between being human and alien, while Call, as an android, is trying to figure out her own identity and protect humanity. Their interaction shows the complicated relationship between being human and not, with both of them, in their own way, bridging the gap between humans and aliens. I love them so so much😭
