Production Blog 🎬: Sheriff Hayseed Town Color Guide

I made a sheet of color direction for model building and general asset prep. The first bit of Sheriff Hayseed work done in a while! The plan here is to actually model each of these in Blender to render backgrounds directly into the video. It's an experiment, really.

As for the rest of Sheriff Hayseed stuff, character design is still going through tons of iterations. We have nothing final yet but here's an iteration from the recurring character designer, CrunchyCrowe!

So i took this old gun model and played with Blender's "Freestyle" attribute for about 4 hours. After fixing geometry and placing edge marks for what seemed like for-fucking-ever, I got this!

So there's some dates for new videos! Stubble Trouble for the 23rd, followed by a Vargskelethor animated the month after.

Now as mentioned in the title of this post, I also have upcoming downtime where I will be unable to work and post here. That will take place on:

March 8th through the 19th. I will be in Massachusetts, apartment searching!

April 30th, I will be making the drive up to actually move

All the symbols would simply rotate to the right just one spot, some fading into nothing, and some fading in to replace others, creating the effect that it rotates all the way around. Fun!
