Hello! I've been a busy little man and a lot of work is being done towards new videos! However this kind of work doesn't yield much to look at so I thought I'd show what I have and explain the rest.

Ideally, I will soon be in a position where storyboards are done much quicker than what we just had here. I'm currently talking with storyboard artists to help with that!

The two gifs above were two of the most difficult shots to animate for SCM 4, and yet they're rather.... normal? Literally just business dude walking around. There's a level of finesse in how people just walk around, turning and scaling, keeping foot patterns and balance realistic.
A fun challenge I wasn't expecting! And even weirder to realize I haven't animated many dudes just.... walking lol.

i thought i'd share a technique i've made for creating convincing 3D water ripples entirely in Harmony. I've used similar techniques before for cheaply animating fire, only difference being the lack of the quadmap.

The first act of Suction Cup Man 4 is nearly finalized! Therefore, I prepare for the next scene, which includes a first view of SCM's home. Given the shorter length of the scene I probably won't do a full 3D model, despite how fun it would be ;; Maybe on a day off...
Anyway, I'll post more about the first act when it's actually finalized. It clocked in at just 2 minutes long but now that I'm fully moved into my new place, work should be going much faster from here on!

Doing what I can to make a court room scene visually interesting. Kind of a challenge in and of itself!
Btw, renovations will be done at my new place pretty soon, but shouldn't mean too much for production. It's just downtown so moving should be quick and I can get back to it, not that I've been posting incredibly much anyway. Not much to show for the court scene but y'know. Things are going smoothly!

As you may or may not know, every background in every TF2 video of mine has been a deadass Garry's Mod screenshot, so of course I'm continuing the tradition for the new little short but I'm trying out some hand painted edits this time!
