Production Blog 🎬: Background experimentation

It's all blender! For a while now, I've been doing my backgrounds in 3D, but that was in Sketchup. When using blender, I can render the colors too! In Sketchup, I'd just render line guides and color it manually.

And why minecraft? Well for some god forsaken reason, my second top view-driving video is a minecraft video from 2012. I'm not doing anything yet, but I might be stupid not to make a minecraft parody right now lmao.

Sheriff Hayseed is still very much my focus though

I'm doing a final refining of the assets for the LAST ACT of this Sheriff Hayseed short.

Here I've swapped the Grid controller for simple sliders. It's the exact same thing but feels and looks better. And I've doubled the amount of clean angles on all puppets to up the organicness!

Grid controllers are more so for if you have upward and downward facing angles on TOP of all the rotation angles, which I've never done lol. Though it would look great. I'll probably look into it in the...
