Yundun The Atlantean Dragon's Wings - Photos

Hello everyone ;)

After many days I finally finished painting the outside of the wings. The wings close to the Dragon's body are warm, but they start to get cold at the end. The right wing is closer to the water so there are a lot of blue and green colors as reflections. But there are less cold blue and green on the left wing, while warm blue and violets are more.

In this post you can find pictures of the Dragon's head and some details from the body. In earlier posts I shared with you how to paint the Dragon's head. These are the final photos. On the top of head I added more yellow and white colors, because the head needs to be visible.

Lord of Change - Base - Photos

Hello;)

Today I have for you step by step photos of Lord of Change's base.

For building base I used:

- wooden base ( I carved the base a little bit),

- milliput (I made round milliput rings on the base),

- wooden puty ( I used wooden putty on the top curving base and milliput rings-yellow color),

- at the end I used black primer on the top.

Today I have for you photos of my Lord of Change. I have painted him 1,5 years ago. He won gold in Crystal Dragon in Australia. I spent many hours for painting him. He is one of my favourite miniatures ;) 

You can see at the work in progress photos, in the beginning I used green color for painting his wings. After time I have changed my idea and used only blue color (Pdf).

Yundun The Atlantean Dragon - Base

Yundun The Atlantean Dragon - 3rd Base

Hello everyone ;)

I have been carving in the last days the third base for Yundun The Atlantean.  For building base I used lime wood and milliput on the waves' edges. 

Base composition:

- Two touching waves show which way the dragon is looking.

- The highest waves are in the middle, near the ship. At the edges of the base the waves are calm.

Yundun The Atlantean Dragon - 1st and 2nd Bases

If you remember, I started painting this huge dragon - Yundun The Atlantean - for a while ago. Since then I have made three bases for him.  I added here photos of the first and second base.  On the first one I wanted to see ghosts in the water, and on the second one stones and waves.  I didn't like both of them, because they were too small if we compared to the huge dragon ;) So I built the third base. The Wurmspat - Fecula Flyblown (Pdf and Photos)

Today I have for you pdf, photos and miniature about my latest project Fecula Flyblown.

I show how I make the base on first photos. I used for it white foamed PVC, milliput and wooden putty.

The miniature is not finished, because I want to finish it with one of my patron :). I will send this miniature to my patron who supports me the longest time.

Today I have for you  Tagar & Merwyrm's base  photos. At latest post,  you can find how I paint the stones in the movie.  As I wrote in the beginning the base should be cold to contrast with warm dwarf.  Therefore the dominant colors on the stones are cold (blue and green).  But also I used warm violet for plants on the base to create color connection between the dwarf and the base.
