You can see a lot of lines on the axe at the end of painting, but in reality they are not so visible because this axe is very small ;)

Before the next post on my project, I would like to give an information about changing payment system. A lot of people start to be my patreon every month, they can see and use all posts. But after they stop to be my patreon. I don't know if they do it consciously. Maybe they think they pay me for a month, but sad to say that they do not.

I didn't give names to my painting techniques before, but this time I can say that I use "watercolor technique". I mean, using very wet colors and applying thick layers of paint. The colors mix on the surface each other. When the colors are dry, we can see the shapes that formed from the combination of colors. Generally I use this technique on the large bases.

How to choose light on the hair

Hello everyone;)

Before painting Lady of the Lake's hair I wanted to show you a short video how I choose light on the Akito's hair. 

Akito's hair is short. I connect the light on the hair with the light from nose, forehead and lips. But Lady of the Lake's hair is long, so I  connect the light on the hair with her arm, breasts, elbow.

Lady of the Lake (base and colors)

A few days ago I started painting a new miniature, Hispalis  sculpted by Pedro Fernandez.

Today I have a movie for you about how to make a base,  how to paint a contrast between warm and cold colors and how to choose them.

I really like the water theme in painting, that's why I would like to paint the reflection of a nymph in water. In the next video tomorow I will show you how to paint it.
