Karazai the Scarred - Photos

In pdf II about the 'Color Sketch,' I showed you why it is so important to do a color sketch before painting details.  I wanted to encourage you to do the same ;) It is worth trying to apply colors to the entire model to see how they work together and to learn how to mix colors.

It was a huge project and I spent a lot of time painting it. So the next one will be smaller because I need to take a rest ;) There are still some surfaces that I should paint. But I will do this before the World model Expo.

Karazai the Scarred - Color Sketch

Hello everyone ;)

In this short video, you can see how I do the color sketch for the dragon. I always do this before painting. In my opinion, this is a very important process of painting. After that, it's easier to see how colors match each other. 

I'm sorry for the quality of the video. I had some problems with my computer. The next video about the dragon's wing is better :)

Today I have for you one page of the first pdf about Karazai the Scarred. It's about the color sketch that I did before painting.

In the photos and video 'Karazai the Scarred', you will see that the dragon has a green color on the wing. But I didn't use the green color yet which I shared on the color list. Today I have for you a short video about mixing color on the Maulerfiend's body. I mainly showed there how I prepared colors for painting. It took me a long time to paint this diorama. I started painting it in January. So I still have a lot of materials about it. As soon as I finish posting about Maulerfiend and Salamanders, I start my next project: Krondys, Son of Dracothion. I already have a good idea for a base for this dragon.
