So half of the trouble of loving drawing and training yourself to draw all the time make the writing part of comic writing seems unproductive!!!! Where do I get my serotonins if I can't look at my characters doing stuff???? Well while I write stuff, I am trying to pin a style down for the comic.

!!! Okay, aside from sitting in gay lil fantasy land, I am learning how to use a Silhouette machine to do my bidding. Aside from opening up opportunities for sticker manufacturing!!! So I am flailing my way through writing a comic, naturally it is a high fantasy romp.
In my flails, I am learning that I really must develop a simple style to draw a comic in. I do love a highly rendered comic, but I don't have the luxury of a budget!
I've had these characters in mind for years, and have begun weaving their stories together to create this story. I've got the three main protagonists here, ready to greet y'all. Please enjoy some stats!

A few months back I had the incredible pleasure of illustrating a short story by one of the young talents for 100 Story Building. I illustrated a story called Floor is Lava, a harrowing tale of self sacrifice and friendship.
This was such a joy to illustrate. And the book is full of so many wonderful imaginative stories and illustrations to match! What a wonderful project!!!!

uwu what's this? I've finished a commission???!! Due to being absolutely swamped with unusual work of late, my current stack of commissions is backed up to the ceiling! Which has me feeling atrocious!!!! ._.
I took on a pretty standard batch of commissions but couldn't predict the amount of interest myself and my creative-soon-to-be-business-partner had in our workshop/community based works.
So! I'm getting through my commission backlog slowly now, but otherwise my commissions ...
Essentially I'm curating a million billion things right now and planning fairs and workshops and lil life drawing sessions at my studio. This is a promo comic I drew up for a fair we're holding in August. It's a departure from my usual style but I am always looking for more comic gigs because hello I want to make comics. It was fun, nonetheless.

I would first like to apologize for the lateness of this letter! as I have become, I suppose, sought after. UGH. I'm very frustrated because my lovely tablet, which I haven't even had for a year, is having some issue connecting to my PC so I'm currently drawing on my lil portable tablet which is not as nice! uwah.

Allow me a moment to express some of the anxious mess my brain has been this week.
