I'm giving Unit 68 the week off while I test another project, one I've been wanting to do for some time.  The above is a test image in Daz Studio.  I think the boots need a bit more gloss.

Well, I have a pinky new image all set to upload, and my Internet goes out.  I’m sitting here at an overpriced coffee bar drinking an overpriced latte, and using their WiFi.  If I was smart enough, I could transfer the image to my iPad and upload it while I eat my overpriced scone, but everything goes through the fucking Cloud now.  If I don’t solve my Internet issue by the end of today, I’ll find a way to get the image to you folks after I get home from work tomorrow.

Beach Volleyballs

Summer is here, and with it the return of one of Southern California's more popular sports, beach volleyball.  Team Kahuna, pictured above with their captain, was undefeated last season, though whether this was due to their superior ball handling  or their unique ability to avoid injury when making diving saves is a subject of much debate.  Either way, you can bet they'll take on all comers, and will give better than they get!

Suspended!

My Patreon account has been suspended, apparently for violating their community guidelines.  I'm working with Patreon to find out what they find so offensive.  If Patreon and I cannot resolve the issue by the 25th of this month, I suggest you kind folks withdraw your support.  This blows, but I can't say that I'm surprised.

Back from vakay

Went to visit my parents.  It was less than fun.  I usually see them once a year, but I had to skip last year, and seeing the difference was quite a shock.  Fuck you, Harry Chapin.

I expect I'll be putting up an image this weekend, and possibly another one on Monday or Tuesday, depending on how well things come together.  I'm trying out a new figure, (I'll point it out when I post it) which is turning out to be more difficult to work with than I expected.

Taking a trip

Hi, all:  Just to let you know, I won't be putting up an image this weekend.  I have to fly cross country to visit my parents.  They're getting up there in years, so I'd better get in all the time I can with them.

On the off-chance people don't know this, getting old sucks.  Then again, it's better than the alternative, I suppose.

Daz Studio test.

When it comes time to do Mars Needs Milkers, I'm considering doing it with Daz Studio.  This allows me to work with Poser and Daz Studio at the same time, working with one program while the other one renders.  This render took two hours, but it was my first time trying to render something with Daz Studio.  I have to say, the lighting looks pretty bitchin.

Unit 68 on hiatus until April

I owe my mate Doc Robo a conclusion to Perfect Pairs at the end of March, so I'm going to put all my efforts into completing that.  But it's not all bad news.

I am also continuing the storyline for Unit 68, and came up with some really cool plot twists that surprised even me.  It appears that I do my best thinking in the shower.  Is TMI?

Anyway, I'll understand if people want to bail, at least until April, after which I'll throw all my free time at Unit 6...

Next image of Unit 68 delayed

Sorry, all.  The next image will be delayed.  Like the several previous, it is made up of multiple images, one of them containing a certain, um, element that I'm unhappy with the look of.  I've been trying to make it look right, but I may have to settle for what I've got and move on.  I'll try to post by Tuesday, but an incoming snowstorm may delay me a day or so.

Fair warning...

The next several pages of Unit 68 will be of the sort that got me suspended over at DA, only more so.  If your delicate sensibilities are offended by images of what consenting adults do every day, get out now.  I expect to post the next image tomorrow sometime.

Possible new series - Captain Tolerance vs the Purity League

Considering my present difficulties with DeviantArt, I'm thinking about launching a new series - Captain Tolerance vs the Purity League.  It would pit a mentally enhanced individual teaching a group of Internet trolls what obscenity really is.  Of course, I would complete all my other projects first.

Mars Needs Milkers!

A plague has struck the planet Mars, causing a bizarre form of lactose intolerance in its inhabitants.  Thankfully, the Martians are able to assimilate human milk, and even better there is no shortage of free-range females available for the taking.

Artist's note: my apologies for taking so long with this image.  The main body consists of eleven layers.  I could have added more depth and had the corridor recede even further into the ship, but I think this gets it well ...

Riy'ah test image

Just testing the waters for one of the characters in a new piece.  Her name is Riy'ah, and though alien she is humanoid in all the right places.  I've got a better loincloth lined up, and she'll get genitalia.  This is just sort of a first pass.  Let me know what you think.
