Wooden Update: no comic next week

Wooden Update: Down With the Sickness

Yo! As you might have noticed, there were no Progress Pictures or Hidden Details this week. I was suffering from a bad case of man flu from Tuesday until yesterday, so I just didn't have the energy to create them. Apologies!

I think they'll be back next week, but the fact that nobody has asked about them does make me wonder if I should do Progress Pictures and Hidden Details in the first place. Maybe it's time for those posts to retire and maybe we should think about a new way to thank ...

A Song of Hype and Memes

Wow, it's actually done. Even though I didn't like the last season, at least it spawned years and years of quality hype, memes and jokes!

Right after seeing the last Game of Thrones episode, I got sick, so I haven't been able to make a bonus panel. Apologies!

Hidden Details: The Hype Mind

I didn't like this week's episode of Game of Thrones. Daenerys' descend into madness felt completely forced and hollow to me, I didn't buy it at all. And I can't believe they deleted Jamie's redemption arc like that. He had become one of my favorite characters on the show because of his growth and in the end, he was back at square one. But hey, at least the memes are good! And Cleganebowl was hype as fuck.

Hidden Details: Zombie Bonding

While making this comic, I was fueled by a weird cocktail of stress and excitement because we went to see Avengers: Endgame Wednesday morning at 00.01. So I had to make sure this comic was done before I went to the theater and at the same time, I had to focus on Game of Thrones and don't think about Avengers too much. It was a weird day. I almost didn't make it, but I cut some corners here and there and Nina helped a lot, so I finished just in time.
