Hey y’all,
After a lot of back and forth, and a whole bunch of writing and rewriting. We’re excited to say, the main story for Paizuri University is complete!
It comes with a few changes.
- Act 3 has been split in two.
- Act 3 now ends Chapter 4’s story arch appropriately.
- There is now an Epilogue.
- And there are 2 endings!

Another month is over, and it was relatively quiet.
For the first 3 weeks, we we’re on break, recovering a little to help keep the juices flowing and come back fresh.
During our break we talked about a lot of things, like what our plans are for the future of Zuripai Games, and what things we can do to bring more to Patrons and the public. We’ll get more into that as time goes on.

It’s coming! Paizuri University version 0.4.0!
It was a bit of a rough one this month, with computer troubles delaying and attempting to make us feel bad. But we showed it! We still got everything we needed done! (With the exception of the rewrite needed for the ending of Chapter 4).

After several attempts to revive Buka Chan’s hard-drive, we’re sad to say that it’s dead. T_T
And this month we really felt the effects of it as we play tested and started putting more of Chapter 4 in game. Suffice to say, it hasn’t been a fun month for us.
But before we get too down on ourselves, we’ve come up with a game plan to help us get over this bump and sort out a bunch of problems to keep Paizuri University going.

Firstly, we’ve had some additional delays this week, thanks to Buka Chan’s computer still causing trouble!
Zuri Sama has been spending a number of nights trying to fix Buka Chan’s computer, to get it back in working order. After annihilating a particularly new OS, and reinstalling an old and reliable one, the problems have magically disappeared.
IMPORTANT: We haven't recovered the files from the hard drive yet, but there is hope!

Today… Buka Chan’s working hard drive failed, and a lot of data was lost. Meaning we lost some files for Paizuri University.
First, the bad news. What did we lose?
- The Bonus Scene “Bourbon Babes” art for Chapter 3. These will need to be re-done meaning it may not make it into the next Patreon release.
- 90% of the high-res working Character Avatar files. Meaning adding new emotions for existing avatars will be a pain.

This month was awesome!
The latest change to scheduling our releases has been very helpful (see post). Taking away some of the crunchy problems to help us still get everything we wanted to get done in! So yay for schedule optimizations!

It’s coming. Paizuri University version 0.3.20!!!
We’ve added a heap, and polished a bunch, with a little bit extra even! Chapter 4 has begun!
We’re still wrapping up Chapter 3, with one more animation to come, and finishing off it’s Bonus scene. But by the next Patron release next month, Chapter 3 will be 100% complete and Chapter 4 fully underway!
And with the recent change in release schedule, we really feel like we got everything we wanted to in for this release, ...
