This time I’m here to show you some sexy drawings of the Chemist, who I showed some design sketches of last time. 

She's actually a film processor at the University, but she moonlights as a “freelance” chemist specializing in aphrodisiacs. I wonder who she’s friends with then? ; )

[3D Art] Kareen in 3D?!

Bukacain and I have been figuring out a few more things for Chapter 2.

While Bukacain's been finishing off the art for Chapter 1. I've been experimenting in 3D to make Paizuri University into something a little more then just a Visual Novel.

What's new?

Hello Patrons and Lewd Connoisseurs!

Building a brand new engine and supporting a platform like HTML5 has not been the best choice in getting regular builds out to public. Especially since HTML5 is a relatively new thing for me to be trying.

Why? Because solving problems for HTML5 builds has been a bit of a mess when trying to get a stable one and testing them can span a few nights. With the amount of time I have, this is not a good thing.

[Background Art] Food Styling Class WIP

Today I worked out the Food Styling background with Bukacain for the next major scene in Paizuri University Chapter 1.

What can I say about it...

Uhhh... it looks like a kitchen... ... it's laid out like a food tech lab... people make food here and do things to them...

It's been fun making these, although they do take a lot of time to model and even more to color in. Which is something we're hoping to address in Chapter 2.

[Feature] Overhauled Gallery

Talk about a mess that needed whipping up! Geez...

I spent the last day overhauling the old gallery system. 

The design still needs some work, but it can do a lot more than it's broken predecessor.

So what's different?

Images are organized by their type now, making it easier to find what you're looking for.  So you don't have to keep playing through the game to get to your favourite bits. ; ) 

It now also supports Cutscene viewing! So you can watch Evelyn...

[Update] Reward Adjustment & Minor Builds

With the minor build coming pretty much in the next few hours, we've had to make some last minute adjustments to all releases. This is because we realized our current release strategy wasn't fair to all patrons receiving builds.

So to keep things fair, we're making some slight adjustments.

It is once again time for a Bukacain art post!

This week I wanted to show you one of the backgrounds I've been working on. It still a bit of a work in progress, but it's almost complete! 

As we've mentioned in a previous post, Zuripai Sama creates a 3D render of what the background should look like, and I use that as a base to paint over and add colour and detail. It saves me a lot of time figuring out the perspective work, which would make the backgrounds ...

Organization is Sick!

Earlier this week Bukacain and I caught up with each other to talk more about getting organized and giving Bukacain access to the project files so that they can directly contribute their art into it.

After much poking around and explaining things, Bukacain now has access to the projects.

Previously it had to pass through my hands using DropBox, which I then had to setup and put into the game. But now they can just add it and submit without me having to manage it all. A huge time saver fo...

In-Game Censoring!

I've been a bit sick lately, and since I've been laying in bed "resting" I started adding the optional in-game censoring!

A complaint we've seen from people making videos of Paizuri University is they have to put a lot of extra work into censoring their Let's Play. Because you know... masking out a static area and applying a blur filter to footage for a 18+ NSFW game you chose to play sure is hard work...

Chapter 1 - First Paizuri Peek

This weekend Bukacain finished the drawing of the first paizuri scene in Paizuri University with the Dean. 

And this morning I spent a good 8-ish hours separating all the sprites and rigging it in Unity. It is now ready to be animated!

Just like paizuri it looks like a mess, but the end result will be satisfying! : )
