I'm currently in the middle of studying Danganronpa's art style. A style that is (thankfully) pushing my toes into the more painterly digital technique pond, opposed to the cel-shading style I've been riding on. Momo/Jirou (NSFW)

Getting the muscles right drove me ever so slightly bananas, but such is the road to Ideal Thicc®ᵀᴹ©. The visual appeal and clean character shapes made it fun to draw, and I'm definitely adding some of Momo's design into my secret Ultimate Waifu Research Laboratory®ᵀᴹ©.

This is my first thorough attempt at a thick-with-two-c's-suffixed-with-an-er-indicating-greater-thickness that Stridescape Part 8 started never really accomplished what I wanted.

Cleaned lines and base colors for a commission. Mercy's been helping me experiment with what sort of thick-with-two-c's-ness I'd like to draw. 

Next I'll need to make sure details are consistent between figures, as each of these were drawn on different days. Then clean up some of the lines and enter into shading/texturing.

Tutorial Island Final

Stridescape Series

Wrapping up the Tutorial Island chapter of Stridescape. Now that we're on the mainland, there's plenty more adventures and characters to come!

Stridescape Tutorial Island was a drawing gauntlet I gave myself to help me better understand how I draw digitally. While I have a ways to go, this nine image set taught me a lot. Perhaps I may one day revisit this set with new skill, but not until we've had our fun elsewhere for a bit!
