This time, I worked on the line drawing using my iPad. However, the time-lapse resolution on the iPad was low, making the lines hard to see. I apologize for this inconvenience. Additionally, I forgot to turn on the time-lapse feature in Clip Studio, so I couldn't obtain a time-lapse file for the coloring process. Therefore, I will upload the time-lapse of a drawing that will be shared on Twitter later for the coloring process. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you see what I want to convey in this picture? Yes, it's Sekoshi-chan's foot. To achieve this, I differentiated the background and the depiction of Sekoshi-chan. I separated the layers, using a soft brush to densely describe Sekoshi when rendering, while for the background, I restrained the use of the soft brush to provide minimal detailing. Nevertheless, everything is built on a solid base color. Please check this process in the file. Thank you :)

In this artwork, I used an approach appropriate for conveying the narrative. I refrained from using soft edge brushes as much as possible and simplified the subject for effective expression. I applied the base color first and then, based on that color, gradually added different shades while rendering. I refined the larger elements bit by bit to complete the picture. The approach I used this time is the typical method used by comic artists, drawing black lines on top of sketches. The black lines alone can significantly enhance the overall quality, so it helps compensate for our coloring abilities that may not quite measure up to the geniuses.
