Hello, this is some1else45.
Thank you so much for always supporting and showing interest in my work.
Recently, my work environment has changed, and I’ve switched to a different painting tool.
As a result, starting from mid-January 2025, only PSD files will be uploaded for my works.
However, since Clip Studio Paint can also open PSD files, Clip Studio users will still be able to use them conveniently.
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to...

Recently, one of the phrases filling my mind is "selection and focus."
I often think about this concept during the depiction phase of linework or coloring.
It’s about deciding which parts will be depicted lightly and where to concentrate detail.
For instance, in this painting, the areas of focus for depiction would be Sekoshi's face, hair texture, reflected light near the skin contours, and the pattern of tiles in the background.

It was really tough to draw an illustration after a long break.
Especially when line-focused comic-style drawings incorporate rendering beyond cel shading, the characters can look a bit strange.
However, this allows you to identify your weaknesses.
For instance, even a little rendering on the face immediately highlights any awkwardness in the stylized features.
This is the first illustration for OOMAKASE!
After drawing comics, I was able to significantly reduce the time it takes to draw and ink lines.
Since I have to draw countless characters, I believe comics are a great way to improve drawing skills.
I strongly recommend giving it a try.
