The Inbetween

I have this fascination of photos that I take which aren't perfect. There is movement, they're possibly a little out of focus because of it. I call this the in between. These are the things that aren't supposed to be paid any attention. That you shouldn't put on display and that others should not see.

I feel like they are little secrets that often wear awkward looks. They are my favourites.

Bonus points if I'm blinking - those are my very very favourites.

Better videos and an actual Vlog ahead!

So, we've made some investments! 

I just ordered a bunch of stuff in order to make nice professional looking videos. It needed to happen! The more I do videos I think that I could get into vlogging so, I spent a little money today and bought a nice ring light, table top tripod (the one I have is tall and is made of outdoor shooting), I bought a rig for backdrops (which will also be used for a winter photo project I was thinking of) and two backdrops!

I honestly believe humans are not meant to live like this. We are meant to live in loving communities and be around nature everyday. We are meant to grow our own food, create art and not work and and night aimlessly until we die. This longing for another life is not human nature. It's a symptom of modern society.

Ok, so....I've been going through a lot lately. A lot of therapy and self discovery and getting back to myself - which it a lot of art honestly. 

I've been doing a lot of things behind the scenes since I've been home. I think about art every single day. I feel called to it. Creating and working towards projects is what my focus is.

Your Assumptions/Questions about me.

Yesterday I posted a link to AskFm so you guys could make assumptions or ask anon questions about me, my work, my life - whatever you wanted! The internet was down at work earlier so I made you this video. 

I have to say that it is already VERY apparent that I need a ring light and probably another camera option to do this well. I will look into that. But at least I'm making things for you in the meantime??

Little Helper

So I took some photos yesterday, trying out some different things and low and behold I had a little helper. 

I kept taking her out of shots whenever I noticed her but when I uploaded everything BOOM there she is, right in the middle, looking straight into the camera even posing.....
