WIP Updates

I got a ton of meshing done over the last 2 weeks, you can see everything I've finished in the photos above. 

For recipes I ended up making 5 types of Mochi because they are all so delicious :D There is chocolate, matcha, taro, mango, and strawberry mochi - the harvestables I created for ingredients for some of these are adzuki beans, rice, mango, tea plant, and cacao.

I also made the pork Tonkatsu meal to make sure we had at least one homestyle recipe for this set of recipes...

And lastly for tonight, a functional rain chain!

This is an override so it will effect the version you already have in game.  It will drip when there is a good rain and stop dripping when it lightens up or ends. You do need the most updated Shared Objects tuning which I've included in the download below.

I don't have a post for these yet but they're just separated objects so there's nothing special you need to know except that you need Snowy Escape for them to show up in game :)

I'm still working on that recipe and wrapping up the rain chain and they are coming up next!

WIP Updates

I separated the items WIP Access patrons requested, you can check them out above. The maneki neko and carved bear sculpture are super cute :) Beds are the next on the list.

I also added a sneak peak of the objects for the Japanese Butaman (Steamed Pork Buns). Updates have me a little behind but I'd like to at least get this recipe to WIP Access patrons by the end of the day tomorrow. 

I'm still picking apart the hotpot tuning for the teapot. There is way more than I anticipat...

Holy CRAP it took forever to finish these!!!

I kept having issues for numerous reasons and had to repackage quite a few of them. As I said before I also need to find a quicker way of updating recipes. I'm afraid to batch fix them because the last time I did that it messed up a bunch of files so I'll have to look at it some more.

Anyway, enough of my ranting.

Drink Poll & Discussion

Now that we have an option for Junk food and Healthy food for sim lifestyles, let me know if would you all like drinks to be tagged as a healthy or junk food. And if so, what types of drinks would be considered healthy, junk food?

Need a little help...

Does anyone know of an object in game that has a single water drip or thin vertical stream of water falling/dribbling? 

I tried a bunch of the fountains but they're all too big and the dew collector looks like it's one big effect instead of a single one :P

Add-On & Separated Object Discussion

I started this discussion to get an idea of which add-ons or separated objects you'd like to see from the snowy escape pack! Right now the only things I'm looking at making for sure are the separated beds and some shoe racks that function like the No Shoes sign.

Spooky Tombstone Drink Tray

I don't have the page up for this yet but it's pretty self-explanatory. You can select the drink tray to stock, empty, or grab a drink. There are 4 drinks that come with this: 

• Black Magic Lemonade
• Candy Corn Punch
• Eerie Eyeball Punch
• Purple People Eater

They all have a chance for a custom buff and it costs 90 simoleons to fill the tray. Everything you need along with any updated shared files can be found below!

I know it's the fall and Thanksgiving time but the new Japanese themed pack is coming out so should I focus on fall recipes or Asian style recipes next month? 

Also, please feel free to leave some recipe ideas in the comments below!

Custom Drinks Poll

Just a quick poll to find out how you prefer to get your custom drinks.

1 - Use drink trays like the rustic drink tray I made previously or the Fizzy Drink tray in game where the individual drinks spawn after your sim purchases them. This would allow unlimited options for drinks on the same tray. This is the easiest option with the most variety.

2 - Make a punch bowl item where your sim can purchase a drink which will fill the bowl. Sims can click on it to grab a serving and event...

Quick Poll - Halloween Doughnuts

So I know for future projects, did you all like that the different donuts all stacked together in your inventory, or would you have preferred them separated by type? 

If they were separated by type you'd have a stack of Cute Halloween Doughnuts, then you would have a stack of Creepy Halloween Doughnuts, then a stack of Candy Corn Doughnuts.

WIP Updates

Hey all!

As far as content updates I'll be wrapping up the Halloween recipes on Friday since I was able to take the day off :D I'll for sure have the peppers and pasta done but may need to finish the drinks early next week.

While I was sorting through all my files (in part to organize them but also to get a bunch of straggler files set up to upload), I found my Cowplant Milk mod files and spent a little bit sorting through them and tidying them up. Although it's been almost a year...

WIP Update

Sorry guys, these took longer to finish because I was having an issue when I would try to move the plate in live mode that would crash the game. After several hours troubleshooting it turns out I needed to repair the game and it wasn't the doughnuts after all.

Now that there are no more issues they're nearly ready. I have to update a couple of the texture connections and text references and they'll be ready for WIP Access to play around with!

A lot of  these designs are inspired from things I found on Pinterest. You can see some screenshots of what I've meshed out and textured so far in the pics above and here is a quick list of those items:
