I got a little carried away with this but ultimately I'm really happy that I did. Originally I had made just a regular candle but once I put the recipe together and had my test sim craft them I felt it didn't add enough to the gameplay. It felt like, what's the point? I can buy candles if I want them and even if I added a special buff to the candle it didn't quite feel like it was worthwhile (at least for me) to craft them.
So I came up with the idea of candles that actually melt when you burn...

As far as the candles are concerned, the idea of creating them on the Homestead Table itself was a bust. I tried for a whole day to get the animations to run with the tuning for the table but they just don't mix. I decided instead the candles will have to have a fridge component attached to them.

I separated all the flower/grass pieces while I was on the road a few days ago and just now threw them together. This is going to be FUN.
I've been trying to edit the mesh to make the vase a little smaller but it won't take for some reason. If I can't get it to work at least each vase will have it's own unique variation. There will be so many possibilities!

Here's the base I'm going to use for the aromatherapy candles. They'll all have different effects and be different colors. Also, I'm working on the code to make it so that they burn out completely. I'm trying to make it so that the candles made with better quality beeswax will burn/last longer than ones made with poorer quality beeswax. These will require some Herbalism skill because they'll use herbal ingredients and I'll be using some of the Herbalism animations as well.

I don't know how long it will take to wilt, but it's so long you should never see it if you're running a retail shop.
I've got a couple more tweaks to make to the mesh and the footprint. If all works out well this will be available for Early Access tomorrow :D

I could not for the LIFE of me get this corner piece right lol. I had turned it like 10 different ways trying to to get the cut right then realized I had one of the sides backward...smh...
Anyway...these look and function well. It's just 2 pieces but they're modular so you can do a bunch of things with them. I didn't bother with an inner corner piece because (as I learned from the modular planter I made for the Barn lot) Sims can't route to it.

I finally got the honeycomb done. It took a moment because I really wanted it to show a whole and half eaten state while your Sim is eating it but I kept referencing the geostates wrong lol. I figured it out finally, yay!
Now I need to make the buff and link it to the box itself. The comb is going to be a byproduct so you'll automatically get some when you collect honey - kinda like real life ;)

I got in game to test these after I fixed them but then decided I needed to make a couple more adjustments and add a couple more things lol.
I added some picnic table slots to the overrides set, a simpler outdoor place setting, and I added one more slot to the Dining Table overrides. It's done now. I just need to rotate the slots in the right positions and I should have them up for Early Access in the next couple hours :D

Okay so here's the deal. Glassware is not included. I don't know why, but I can't get it to stop crashing my game so I'll need a little more time with that. I'll release it as it's own mini-set and I'll do some versions that actually have deco liquid in them too.
Some of these files are new, but the majority of them use the same instance as before so a lot of this stuff won't need to be replaced...
