I'm going to try to finish writing a branch with Hima today (there's not much left). Another little problem I ran into is that the plot says Viv is supposed to clean Hima's room. The thing is that I painted this background a few years ago and most likely lost the source, so I'll have to redraw this background, maybe. In total, I need at least three versions: Night apartment, apartment with lights on, and cleaned apartment with lights on. I hope my drawing skill has improved a bit in the meantime, by the way, I'll only think about it again when I'm done with the script. Developing Viv gave me a good experience, I made a lot of mistakes in previous builds as this is my first visual novel and I didn't quite understand how to work with it. It's mostly about plot layout and variables.
There are tons of variables in the game like “Did Viv exchange cell phones with this or that character”. However, there are no variables like “Relationship level with this or that character.
I mean, conventionally the game can remember who Viv slept with, kissed, and so on, but this could have been simplified a hundred times. Programmer's hell that I created myself, now I have to test the game every time to find the right variable that is responsible for this or that event.

Hi everyone, today I finished describing the activities that Vivien could theoretically do if she came home alone. The point is that one of the possible variations is going to visit Hima. This section will be bigger in scope than watching a movie or porn alone, that's why it's separate.

The sound work is done, now I'm setting variables and tinting the text where needed.
Unfortunately due to the shelling, my lights are now going out too often, again.
As you might have noticed in the screenshot I added the icon with rendy's head to one of the options, since this option is not really obvious and this update can be passed avoiding sex scenes.

As for Bisa, I can't tell you anything yet, she'll get to her pc soon, hopefully she'll write a long post about how her trip went, I'll make sure she does, thanks for listening.

I've just finished working on all the minor sprites, and have started polishing up the final build.
All I have to do is put in music, sounds and variables like $stress, $corruption, $domination, etc.
The game is still missing some scenes and illustrations I'm sure Bisa will draw them as soon as she can. Otherwise the build will be published without them, alas. I'm going to do it one way or another.
Regarding Bisamon's trip:
She made an attempt to enter Ukraine but was refused again, now she is waiting for some documents for two more days to try again.
All in all the news is very sad and sad, she is under a lot of stress at the moment and needs your support, so if you have the opportunity to write to her personally with words of encouragement just do it.

We once had a discussion about whether this was a violation of any rules, because it's basically rape. We agreed that the game itself doesn't show it as a good thing and in fact condemns it. Our game is rife with this sort of thing, and we really hope it doesn't prevent us from putting it on Steam or anything like that in the future.

As a writer, I'm aware of what I'm doing. Drugs and rape are obviously terrible things, and I try to show them as something terrible with bad consequences. Theoretically we could replace these moments with less harsh ones, but isn't that why you love our project ?)
For me personally, Project Viv is more than a visual novel for adults. If you take away my creative freedom and add restrictions, it's something else entirely, I hope you know what I mean.

It's great when sex scenes give you maneuvering room for action and aren't linear, but I can't think of any game where that works the way it does in "Viv"
The scene with Randy ruins some of the principles and plotting a bit, namely (dominance and sabmissiveness), but that doesn't make it any worse than the rest.

Ps. Bisa, if you're reading this, know that you're a miracle and you will definitely succeed.

Hi everyone, I'm still putting sprites into the game, you're in for a lot of garish illustration as you may have already noticed from Bisa's posts. As promised I created a cheat code that opens the entire gallery, this is what it looks like. Most likely at the end of the update you will be prompted to unlock the entire gallery, this feature will only be available to patreons.

This part of the update is filled with violence, which many may not like. but I want to tell you that in the game you can avoid such a course of events. so it all depends on your desires and preferences. this is one of the options that you may not encounter. it's like a bad ending in games. by the way, remember that the more stress in the game, the worse for the character.
