“So with Bomber gone, I was talking with coach about moving me up in the line-up.” Like usual, Todd had a lot to say after practice, and being able to listen and engage with his enthusiastic son helped to take the edge off of the older shepherd’s nerves. “He was all ‘consistency is important, blah blah blah’, though, so I dunno if he’s going to.”

“Ugh, it's about time.”

Todd already had his plate, and he was lingering near the pizza boxes, both of which were halfway open, by the time his parents made it back to the kitchen. He was waiting, albeit impatiently, because that's “what gentlemen do”, but his angry stomach wasn't going to wait any longer.

The noise of his diaper felt so loud under his pants as he walked along a safe distance behind his wife, and he did his best to mask the sound by walking as loud as his bare feet could manage. It was clear as day that he was doing a bad job of hiding something, but he hoped that his wife was too preoccupied with dinner to worry too much about why he was walking funny.

In what felt like the most agonizing minute since Ms. Finklebottom’s class nearly thirty years ago, tension prevailed between the married shepherds. Todd’s dad stood, smiling like an idiot, with his arm on the doorframe, his fur on end, and his heart hammering in his chest loud enough that he could swear his wife heard every beat. Moving faster than he ever had in his entire life, the big shepherd scrambled around the bedroom to find the clothes he had so haphazardly discarded, gathering up his shirt and the pants he had been wearing before diaper time had decided to overtake him.

“Todd if you drop those boxes, we're cooking YOU for dinner!” 

It was his wife's threat that really stirred the big shepherd into motion. Like a shot, he was off the couch and scrambling down the hallway for the sanctity of his bedroom, whipping the door closed just in time to hear his son struggling with the knob on the front door. Fortunately for the older dog, Todd couldn't quite manage to finesse the doorknob while holding two hot pizza boxes.

Todd licked his chops, ears perked alertly forward on both sides of his baseball cap, and despite being clumsily smeared with grease paint, his brown eyes were alight with mischief. Despite his efforts to clear his mind and let the physical sensation of his wet diaper against the couch pillow be what pushed him over the edge, the shepherd just couldn't stop his imagination from assuming control and taking him the rest of the way.

Todd's dad groaned needily, arching his back and pressing his palms into the front of his diaper. The post-game show blared away on the television, but it did little to distract him from the squish and crinkle of his newly soaked underwear. Both of his hands sunk into the warm, soft plastic, wrapping the  bulk around his shaft, making the big dog shiver with pleasure from the bloated, heavy feel of a wet diaper.
