Sorcerer of Heaven Chapter 1: Prologue

Harry ignored the eyes and the whispers that followed him as he walked through the halls of the First Division barracks. If he didn’t know any better, he'd have assumed he was in some sort of trouble as he was being called into the Captain Commander’s office.

“You are in trouble, you idiot. I told you not to release my Bankai outside your inner world if you wanted to keep our power a secret.”

Harry ignored the feminine voice coming from the depths of his soul. View Post

Dragonlord Chapter 98: Hammerfall

“This is the proposed canal, and these are the three new roads I’m proposing.” Harry pointed at the brown lines drawn on the map of the North while showcasing the proposal to his father, Lord Ryswell and Lord Manderly.

“These are extensive road lanes you are proposing, Lord Harrion. I also couldn’t help but note the canal cuts through the Kingsroad.” Lord Ryswell made his observations known after a minute of quiet contemplation.

“The roads are for faster troop move...

The Lion Cub Chapter 90: A dilemma

“Finally!” Harry let out a breath he was holding as he finished writing the schematics of the ward scheme and some assortment of enchantments that he thought would be useful for Hogwarts.

He took a last cursory look at the scroll's contents before rolling it up. Harry patted himself on the back for having the foresight to take up Ancient Runes and Arithmancy in his fourth year. Without those two subjects, he’d have sounded like an idiot while describing the spells in the scroll. ...

Daeron the Worthy Chapter 55: The Long Night P3

“Archers! Loose!” Lord Glover shouted.

The sound of strings collectively releasing the arrows reached his ears against the backdrop of howling winds that carried sleet and teeth-chattering cold.

“Your grace! You should stand at the back of the army.” Ser Barristan shouted over the howling winds.

“I’m exactly where I should be, Ser Barristan.” said Daeron, unsheathing Lightbringer from its scabbard.

The blade was immediately consumed by red flames that...

Vex Chapter 37: A shady partner

December 2002

The world was never the same again.

It was a cheesy line, but Cerion knows it aptly described the world at the present. Ever since the war in the Middle East was launched, the world was turned upside down for the average citizen.

Cerion snorted. Who was he kidding? Everyone felt the same way. There was no 'average' person feeling sorry for himself. The initial months of the war were the worst as fuel prices shot up like a rocket climbing int...

Should Dorne go independent from the Seven Kingdom in the story Dragonlord?.

Vote for Harrion Stark's pairing.

Now that the story has progressed a bit more, I'm doing the poll again. The last poll conducted for the pairing has Arianne and Nymeria in the lead by a small margin.

This time, the option pool is shortened to reflect the story's current status.

I've removed Margaery from the poll because the North is going independent. Marrying a Tyrell would serve no purpose once the North goes independent. Marriage or no marriage, the Reach would be in the enemy camp soon enough.  View Post

Dragonlord Chapter 97: Plotting treason

“You should not have promised such a thing to Jon.” Eddard said with suppressed anger at the actions of his second son.

“Why not? Jon is old enough to handle the truth.” Harry argued.

“No, he is not! You are not old enough to decide what is good and bad for Jon. He is my blood.” Eddard thundered.

“And Jon is my brother. He has lived to this day fearing his mother abandoned him, or you forcefully took him from his mother.” Harry retorted. “He deserves to get...

The Lion Cub Chapter 89: The siege of Hogwarts P2

Harry found the Founders in battle with the two dragons. He wouldn’t exactly call it a battle because it was so one-sided. The dragons were getting thrashed by the Founders. Lady Hufflepuff had one dragon ensnared in gigantic roots and vines while Rowena bombarded it with blasting curses. The dragon struggled to move or even let out a sound as its mouth was tightly wound up by whatever spell Lady Hufflepuff used. The dragon looked like it was on its last legs, fighting to keep its awareness...

Dragonlord Chapter 96: A funeral

“So, this Magister Vaegon Niharys is bankrolling the sellsails and pirates in the Three Sisters?” Harry asked, an angry frown on his face as he read the list of mercenary companies that were showing their presence in the Narrow Sea.

“Aye, my lord. Gold and silver have been pouring into the Three Sisters for hosting the Myrish sellsails that harries Manderly ships.” said Crayat.

“Hmm.” Harry grunted. “Is there anything else from Daro?”

“Only that the Magi...

The Lion Cub Chapter 88: The siege of Hogwarts P1

It was the first time Harry was in control of the wards of a magical place, much less a gigantic castle like Hogwarts. He had experience in erecting wards over Grimmauld Place with Sirius. That was the extent of his expertise in maintaining wards. But, those wards were later upgraded by Sirius, employing some professionals and tethering the wards to a proper wardstone. However, Harry didn’t have the opportunity to study the intricacies behind such a method properly. He was keyed into the wa...

Dragonlord Chapter 95: Training programs

The sea breeze of Sea Dragon Point was quite comforting for Harry after months of his departure from the North. While he liked Winterfell, Avalon had become his home in his mind. The comfort and safety he felt in Avalon was something he missed for nearly a year, and he was enjoying his return. The war in the south had forced him to depart for Winterfell and made him spend all the time there as the Stark of Winterfell. After that, the Ironborn attack took him out of the North, further estrangi...

The Lion Cub Chapter 87: In for a penny, in for a pound

Harry levitated the rubble out of the way, blocking a corridor. The roof had collapsed on the corridor, probably by the siege engines of Goblins. He could see a massive stone inscribed with runes among the rubble. The rock looked like it had come out of a scorching furnace. Most of the runes inscribed were blackened out after breaching the wards surrounding Hogwarts. He became curious about the runes used by the Goblins. While the runes were burned out, a chuck of the stone was missing, and h...

Should Harry Potter pursue a romantic relationship with Rowena Ravenclaw while he is displaced in time?

As you know, Harry is lost in time. It's now inevitable that a new branch of reality will be formed as Harry's smallest actions create ripples in the past. Under such circumstances, what do you think of Harry engaging in a romantic relationship with Rowena Ravenclaw?

Dragonlord Chapter 94: Fishing at the Neck

Harry was quite disappointed to see the restoration works on Moat Cailin had lagged so much that the workers only managed to restore two of the twenty towers in two years. It was to be expected, with the war in the Westerlands taking up most able-bodied men from across the North. The same had happened in Avalon with his planned port expansion. The lack of workers had pushed his plans back a year, and it got further pushed back when he went to war against the Iron Islands. The lack of men dire...

Daeron the Worthy Chapter 54: The Long Night P2

The darkness that came from beyond the Wall was everything they feared. They were the horrors and legends of a bygone era that mankind should’ve never faced a second time. Mankind faced such great horrors when he was ignorant of many things. Even now, mankind remained ignorant of many things, but war was not something he did not know. War and death had been part and parcel of life. Life could exist and draw meaning only with the existence of death. Therefore, Daeron found it fitting to call...

Dragonlord Chapter 93: The Princess of Dorne P2

Harry had to admit the capital city had seen better days. Once touted as the most populous city in Westeros, most of its streets and houses were left vacant after the earthquake and tsunami that struck the city. With the Seven Kingdoms plunged into a disastrous war soon afterwards, the city’s recovery was further affected. It explained why most of the buildings and streets close to the shore were left in disrepair despite nearly two years had passed after the disastrous incident. Harry supp...

“I meant to ask this earlier. What is that strange thing on your nose?” Rowena asked, an inquisitive frown on her face while looking at the glasses on Harry's face.

“Oh, this? It helps me see more accurately. I have trouble seeing with clarity, you see.” said Harry, tapping the glasses on his nose.

“You are blind without these glasses?” Rowena asked curiously.

“I'm not blind. I have poor eyesight, and these glasses improve my vision. That's all.” Harry exp...
