The Lion Cub Chapter 73: The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death

ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN AT THE DEPARTMENT OF MINISTRIES!

SOURCES CLAIM THE INTRUDER WAS CAUGHT RED-HANDED.

Harry read the main headlines of the Prophet, which jolted his memory a little bit. There was some incident involving a Ministry employee trying to gain access to the Prophecy. If his memory was correct, Lucius Malfoy had the man under the Imperius curse take the Prophecy from the Department of Mysteries. He didn’t remember the full name but was...

Should the North gain independence from the Iron Throne?

As you may have noticed, the North is fast becoming self-sufficient thanks to Harry's magical interventions. The Northern lords are disgruntled with Ned for butting into southern affairs and throwing Northern lives for the southerners. There is a deep sense of alienation among the Northern lords far early than the canon events of GoT. With the North's borders secure, fleet expansion, expansion of road networks, food security, glass trade and increasing volume of trade with the Free Cities hav...

Dragonlord Chapter 76: The revenge of a lioness

“You know about my circumstances. How?” Harry asked, looking at the shade of his illustrious ancestor.

“That’s such a silly question, young one. You summoned me using the Resurrection Stone, connecting your thoughts and magic to pull my spirit from beyond the veil of death. So long as your magic and mind are connected to the stone, I know everything you know.”

“I see.” Harry muttered.

“Why ask questions to the answers you already know, young Stark? Isn’t th...

Name for the combined geographical entity of the Stormlands, the Crownlands and some portions of the Reach.

As you guys/gals know, the plan of Daeron involves absorbing the Stormlands and some portions of the Reach into the Crownlands.

I think this new political entity or expanded Crownlands must have a unique name to ensure the assimilation of the Stormlands and some portions of the Reach. A new name provides a new political identity addressing a new entity with modified borders with the other kingdoms of Westeros.

Daeron the Worthy Chapter 50: Plucking the golden rose

The castle of Summerhall burned behind her, making Daenerys a bit uncomfortable standing so close to the old seat of her family. Black smoke bellowed out into the sky as dragon flame continued to eat into the stones and bricks of the castle. The sky was darkened by the black smoke rising out of the castle while the screams of men haunted the air.

Drogon and Rhaegal had burned through all the defences and tents of the Golden Company, leaving a broken army without any leadership in its wa...

Dragonlord Chapter 75: The Master of Death

“Stannis! Stannis! Stannis! Stannis!”

“Baratheon! Baratheon! Baratheon!”

It was amidst the loud chorus of his name and that of his house from the men of the royal camp that he rode in atop his horse. For whatever reason, Robert had decided to camp at Old Oak instead of moving up the Ocean Road and launching the invasion of the Westerlands.

He was not unhappy with the decision of his kingly brother. It’d mean he had a chance to lead the attack against the lions. ...

The Lion Cub Chapter 72: Bidding time

Dumbledore stared into his own hands with a certain numbness as the early morning events repeatedly played out in his mind. He had known Umbridge would end up crossing a line that would spell nothing but chaos in Hogwarts. His fears had come true with Hogwarts students across House boundaries were now demanding the expulsion and even the incarceration of Dolores Umbridge. As a matter of fact, Hufflepuff students had even given a formal letter demanding the removal of Umbridge from her post to...

Dragonlord Chapter 74: The Undying

Daro Ohadras stared unblinkingly at the massive castle from a safe distance. The veil of the night kept the castle shrouded in darkness, but his sight was not the only sense in perceiving the world. Years of training to become a warlock of the House of Undying had gifted him with senses beyond compare. His ability to perceive magic was the greatest among his fellow warlocks, which was why he was chosen for this particular mission.

“What do you see, Daro?” asked Crayat, a fellow warl...

The Lion Cub Chapter 71: Protector of Hogwarts

Harry walked in between the rows of Gryffindor students practising the disarming charm and watching over their progress. The younger students of third-year and fourth-year students needed far more practice on the spell compared to the fifth-year students and above. It primarily stems from the fact that they had never gotten a competent DADA professor to teach them. The only competent DADA professor they had met was the fake Moody. Still, owing to their lower designation in the year system, th...

Dragonlord Chapter 73: A cloak for a wolf

Eddard stared at the map of the Westerlands with some trepidation. The scouts he had sent forth had returned empty-handed. It was a huge disappointment and a blow to the planned invasion into the Westerlands. Th scouts the Riverlords had sent forth were still searching for an alternate route. Should the Old gods be merciful, the scouts would return with good news.

If not, he’d have to choose either a siege o approach Lord Lefford with a marriage proposal. The problem was that a siege ...

The Lion Cub Chapter 70: The true meaning of power P2

Harry flew right beneath Katie, who tried to intercept his stride by blocking his path and capturing the quaffle Angelina threw at him. He veered off to his left side when a bludger rushed at him with force, barely managing to escape getting hit. He rolled in mid-air to throw off Alicia’s attempt to relieve the quaffle from his grasp and immediately threw it straight into Ginny’s hands. However, the quaffle was intercepted by Angelina, who swooped in out of nowhere and plucked the quaffle...

Dragonlord Chapter 72: A wolf's dilemma

Harry studied the design of the new ship that was specifically designed to traverse the treacherous sea lanes of the Bay of Ice around the icebergs of the area. He planned to take the ice from this region and transport it to all corners of the known world when he had a huge fleet under his command. He looked at the specifications of the Naval ram that was proposed to be built into the ship for breaking away the ice obstacles in the sea. It was supposed to be built with Ironwood, and Harry pla...

Daeron the Worthy Chapter 49: The battle of Summerhall

Daeron could only sigh as Gendry once again got smacked down by Ser Lyn Corbray and easily disarmed before the former blacksmith could so much as blink. It was becoming a recurring theme in the training yard of the Red Keep. He was not surprised by Gendry getting overwhelmed by a skilful knight like Ser Lyn. The problem was the repetitiveness of how Gendry always lost the fight. Gendry always loses balance once Ser Lyn closes the gap and attacks him with full force.

“You’re seeing ...
