Do you want time travel in the story The Lion Cub?

By time-travel, I mean travelling back in time to the construction of Hogwarts. It'd mean Harry could meet the Hogwarts founders. There is also going to be a connection made to the Millenium Conjunction Perenelle Flamel talked about.

The time-travel will be accidental so you won't have to worry about turning Harry OP.

So, vote yes if you want time-travel.

Or, vote no if exploring the era of founders is not your cup of tea.

Dragonlord Chapter 22: Plans brewing in shadows

Eddard was not at all having a good day. In fact, his days were filled with meetings of dividing the lands of what constituted the Gift and the various claims raised by the Northern lords. He had to hold meetings separately as well as collectively with his fellow Northern lords to discuss how to go forward with the Gift.

At present, House Stark owned the Gift by the King's decree. However, House Stark was in no position to oversee the lands of the Gift stretching across 100 leagues sou...

The Lion Cub Chapter 33: The Second Task P2

“Well, Hagrid seems to be doing okay.” Harry commented from the side as he watched Hagrid introduce two Unicorn foals to the class.

Just as Professor Grubbly-Plank had managed to capture the interest of the class, Hagrid also attracted excited chitters from his Care of Magical Creatures class.

“Good thing those infernal Skrewts are nowhere to be seen. Maybe they got taken away or something.” said Neville, a hopeful look on his face.

“Knowing Hagrid I highly doub...

Dragonlord Chapter 21: The Wall P2

The Wall!

Harry had only heard of hearsay and some details from the dusty old tomes of Winterfell's library concerning the Wall. He always took any information he could find in those dusty tomes with a grain of salt. In the case of the Wall, this was more so simply because he could not fathom how a culture that raised the Wall lived in abject poverty.

There was no question that the North has remained poor. Unlike popular belief, Harry was not inclined to put all the blame on the...

Daeron the Worthy Chapter 36: The Bloody Fork P2

The night was quiet save for the drumming of heavy rain pouring down from the heavens. The Riverlands have always been prone to rains owing to its tropical nature. In her lessons with Maester Luwin, she had learned her mother's homeland was filled with rivers. It was a land teeming with rivers, fords, lush green forests and rich farmlands. And the rivers of the Riverlands get their water mostly from rain rather than melting snow as is the case in the North.

Right now, Arya appreciated ...

Harry carefully aligned the broom so that he was right underneath Fred just as the bludger came into the redhead's possession. As Fred was about to smash the bludger, Harry pulled the broom straight up.

The Firebolt's advantage compared to the Nimbus models is that it has better acceleration in the first thirty seconds. There was no lurch on his body when he went for an abrupt fly-by. The Firebolt carried him through and distracted Fred from concentrating on the bludger in favour of ve...

Dragonlord Chapter 20: The Wall P1

The sky rumbled as thunder and lightning danced in tandem high in the heavens. Gales of wind howled as they blew across the land touching anything and everything in its path. Leaves danced to the tune of nature while creatures of land and sky rushed for cover. The breeze was so strong that the thick trees of the North were wobbling and dancing to the tune of the wind.

Benjen and his company were not so different. There was a storm brewing in the distance. They were also ready to secure...

Do you want Harry to become an animagus in the story The Lion Cub?

Since Sirius is now a free man and the summer vacations are drawing close there is a mole time for Harry to train and become an animagus. Of course, Harry could use this time as a vacation and on the side get some duelling training done.

So, do you want Harry to take up animagus training during the vacation? If so, vote yes.

If you think becoming an animagus is a little too much then vote no.

Lucius traced his fingers over the wrist of his wand arm. The lines left by the Unbreakable vow stood pronounced over his pale skin. With this mark, he realized he carried a mark on each of his arms.

At least, he took the Dark Mark willingly.

Perhaps he was ignorant of what he was stepping into at the time but he had taken the Dark Lord's mark proudly. At the time, he thought the Dark Mark was a symbol of power. It took him years to realize it was only a mark of ownership. The D...

Which mode of magical transport would you like to see in Dragonlord?

There are quite a lot of ways mass transportation can be achieved through magic. The Portkey magic could be used to developer teleportation of a group of people over long distances. There is the connected magical cabinets that could be expanded and developed. Maybe the floo network is also a strong contender.

However, I know many of you like trains. I'm also a lover of trains but we've to keep things realistic as laying tracks is an impossible task for the present Weste...

Screams tore through the night sky while long tongues of fire touched the clouds. Looking down from the chopper Barton took in the hellish scene down below and gulped nervously. He could make out movement on the ground where two inhuman creatures were making a mess out of Fury's perimeter.

The army and SHIELD personnel were way out of their depths in dealing with the threat and it showed. Armoured vehicles were set ablaze by the creature wielding a gun that spat out hellish fires. And ...

Eddard massaged his temples as he sifted through the stack of parchments on his desk. With Robert giving a blanket agreement on transferring the Gift to the North he was left to pick up the pieces of the aftermath.

The Gift has been stripped bare since King Jaehaerys made the official declaration to transfer the lands to the Night's Watch. The Smallfolk of those times steadily made their way out as they didn’t want to live without a Lord's protection. As Eddard understands, there are...

Sneak peak into Dragonlord Ch 19

Long…long ago
A King walked the North
The First of all kings
Who claimed these lands for his own.

He led his people from the land of Dawn
To a land of Children and their sacred trees
He brought the Dawn to the Western seas
And all was fair in the King's reign.

Night grew dark as the King breathed his last
The North bled as pretenders rose
His once fair kingdom falling to greed
The arrogance of man inviting doom to the West.

The lands of the Mountain clans were far from suited for travellers. There was only so long the horses could safely travel. For the rest of the journey, they had to take it on foot. There were no clear roads ahead to the scattered villages of the Mountain clans. The best of the paths were filled with stones, thick vines and whatnot. The thick woods surrounding the path they took were filled with wild boars, shadow cats and other deadly creatures. But, most of all, this trip was getting hamper...

“Sirius Orion Black. You are accused of murdering eleven muggles in cold blood and injuring many more on the evening of November 1 of 1981. You are also accused of murdering Peter Pettigrew on the same day near Henley Street, London. How do you plead against these charges?” Fudge thundered from his elevated seat.

“Not guilty.” Sirius said, staring unflinchingly at the Wizengamot members looking down at him.

“Very well then. Your attorney has filed a request for the tri...

Harry grunted as he blocked a strike from Jon. Swatting the wooden sword away and he made for a sweeping swing. Jon was unfortunately far too canny and saw through his move miles away. His half brother ducked under the swipe and caught Harry with the tip of the wooden sword to his neck.

“I win.” Jon crowed happily.

Harry shook his head and stepped back from Jon's swordpoint as his half-brother began jumping around celebrating the victory.

“Finally! This is over.” ...

Pettigrew has no use after Sirius' trial ends. So, Pettigrew will no longer be someone that can help Sirius free. Therefore, what should be the traitorous rat's fate?

Ever since he woke up in this world and took upon the responsibility of being Harry Potter, his sole focus was on improving his magic, acquiring more power, enhancing his skills, winning the Tasks and most of all staying alive. Every action that he took, every plans he made and every thought he had was extrapolated from his need to survive. It was not by choice but out of necessity that he built new friendships and connections.

If he truly had any choice in the matter he'd have left Ho...

What should be Jane's Inhuman powers?

I've decided to accelerate Jane's evolution to Lady Thor a bit. My take on Jane is that she has suppressed Inhuman genes that allowed her to bear the full might of the Reality Stone.

So, before she absorbs Mjolnir's power she is going to awaken her Inhuman side. As such, wich Inhuman power should she possess.

Dragonlord Chapter 16: Frost

Gerion laughed like all other occupants of the hall watching Galbart Glover trying in vain to lift Godsgrief.

Godsgrief! What a pretentious name!

Although, in this case, King Robert was right to be grandiose about the name of his new weapon. In the King's hand, the weapon was deadly enough that it could cause even the Gods to grieve.

Gerion eyed the smashed remains of the boulder. He could still remember the sound as the King smashed the boulder with his new weapon. It wa...

She was lying on top of Cerion with her head nestling on the nook of his neck. He tried to extract his right hand but he couldn’t free it without disturbing Jane. Using his left hand he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes before looking at the alarm clock.

The darkness in the room shielded the alarm clock from his eyes.

Theon hated this cold and unforgiving land called the North. These people were strangers to him, their customs were strange to him and even their gods were strange to him. He had of course heard of the Greenlanders inhabiting the lands of Westeros. He could not fathom how people can live so far away from the sea.

It’s ludicrous!

How can men turn their backs on the call of the sea? How could any men not heed the promise of adventure and glory the seas offered? He could not fath...

‘Breathe in... Breathe out...’

This is not exactly the difficult part of Occlumency training. This was just the exercise for throwing distractive thoughts out of the head.

Occlumency at its basic form is essentially a way to create a thin space between memory and mind. Essentially, Occlumency's goal is to release the mind from the clutches of memory. A mind that’s not entangled with the memory of the brain or instincts attains a ce...

Dragonlord Chapter 14: A trip to Skagos

Eddard liked to think he is a simple man with simple tastes in life. He was never attracted to the extravagance that came with his position as a son of House Stark. Oh, he knew he was afforded many comforts an average Northerner could only dream of. He was born in a warm sturdy castle, one of the largest in the Seven Kingdoms. He was blessed with a lovely family, a lovely wife, beautiful children and the necessary wealth to lead a healthy as well as peaceful life.

Vote for Harrion Stark's seat of power in the North.

I planned to make Harrion the Lord of Harrenhall. But, a small discussion in the discord with a few people who has a better sense than me pointed out it has already been done in some fics. Plus, they also had the sense to figure out that Ned Stark, who has never let go of any of his children to squire or foster with others, will never concede to let Harry go to the Riverlands.

It took me quite a while to see things from Ned's perspective.
