Behind the Scenes at Shrimp of the House #9

To thank you all here on #Thankyoupatrons day, I thought I'd put together a little video giving a glimpse into the set and characters I'm using for the next SOTH installment.

In separate posts, I plan to post similar videos following the actual work on the project.  Not sure if these will be interesting over the long term, but I hope you all get something out of them.

What's next?

I hinted in a previous post that I wanted to take a short break from the Iron Brotherhood series.  I don't want to leave it for too long, I only want to work on something different just to break it up and keep the series from becoming tedious.

That said, I think I've settled on Shrimp of the House #9.  The plan is to have Allison rescue the size-changer from the trash after David's had enough of it.  With Alex's 18th birthday coming up, she starts a video channel to raise...

Brainstorming/ramblings

Call it what you will.  Feel like I need to take a break from The Iron Brotherhood series when I finish Tyler's installment to avoid burnout.  Trying to think of a short project to work on so it doesn't get shelved for too long.

PDFs now available for Patreon exclusives!

In trying to get a vendor account on ComixCentral, I finally put together a decent PDF of Shrimp of the House.  So I decided to give the PDF treatment to Transforming Tyler, My Twin No More, and Jeremy's Journal for anyone wants to take the stories with them on their favorite e-reader but doesn't have a Kindle.

Instead of creating different threads, the PDFs were added to the threads where the  mobi files are found.

Update

So I have decided not to renew my books in the Kindle Select program while I explore other options for distribution.  That means as the current term expires, Kindle Unlimited subscribers will no longer be able to check them out for free.

Nothing puts a target on your back like success, and I feel Amazon has been targeting the little success that all of you have helped my stories achieve.  They banned Transforming Tyler because of content when they have other comics with simila...

Looks like I'm a day or two from previewing TIB: Brody Part 2.  Nearing the end and I decided to do a sequence requiring a new outdoor set.  I was going to throw together something half-assed, thinking it was going to be a limited-use piece, but knowing I'll need it when I get to TIB: Tyler, I figured I'd spend the time to do something elaborate.  Glad I did, because I like the outcome.

Shrimp of the House future?

I have to admit I got some news as I was nearing the end of David's Nightmare back in June that put me in a funk.  I was kind of afraid it ruined the fun of the series for me, but I've had a couple ideas lately that my mind is springboarding off of.  I don't know what I'll use or how it will evolve by the time I get to working on it, but you all might find some of the ideas interesting.

I'm thinking David's had enough of the size-changer and finally throws it out, but Allison ...

Part 3 of The Iron Brotherhood: Corey stalled this week as I needed a couple new buildings.  I didn't create them earlier because I wasn't sure until I needed them exactly what I wanted, so put them on the to do list...and I'm glad because I like how they came out.

Shrimp of the House Volume 1: free for all, or leave it exclusive

I've been thinking about making the first Shrimp of the House story free for all as an introduction to the series, but since I initially made it a patron-exclusive, I'm leaving the decision entirely in your hands.

This will not affect My Twin No More and Transforming Tyler, and any stories like Jeremy's Journal which may become patron exclusives in the future.  Have no fear that this story might mark a shift in those titles, because it won't.  I'm thinking about posting the op...

The muscle growth cross-over story...

This might ramble a bit, but here are my thoughts.

While working on Jeremy's Journal and Shrimp of the House #8, I'm brainstorming ideas for bringing a number of characters together.

The end of Friends Forever set up a few basic ideas.  The premise for the cross-over is that we find out Elliot still has a bottle of the magic ink.  Corey from Li'l Bro, Brody from My Twin No More, and Tyler from Transforming Tyler all hear about it and enter into negotiations to get it for...

Vacations pics!

So, we spent a couple days road tripping through Florida, and another in Georgia.  Our first stop was the Everglades.  We thought we'd be lucky if we saw an alligator, but our expectations were shattered when we walked around near the visitor's center.  We were increasingly disappointed the further into the park we went, but at least it was exciting at the beginning.
