Update so far

Added some basic AI behavior. It's mostly random right now but at least there's something. I am now moving onto adding more behaviors in and fine tuning some of these before this weekend, but I will have enough for deathmatch tier videos for this weekend. Thanks everyone!

Tier Video Update

Hi all!

I recently upgraded my engine to a higher version and now I have to fix a bunch of problems after migration. So I apologize there won't be new videos for a couple of days until I have it back and running.

I also still need to implement some basic AI behavior so whenever I get that working, I will start putting out some videos. Thank you very much for your patience everyone!

Delay on tier videos while I work more

Hey everyone!

I've decided to hold off on making the higher tier videos until I have more set up. I hope to have at least some basic AI behavior set up with a couple of moves.

This weekend I will post double the time with whatever I have so far.

For now, here is some more compilation of the works so far. The only things I updated really are the physics and some basic attacks. I will be re-doing the entire KO animations and system.

Rope physics

In ABL 1.0, the ropes were flimsy but allowed the characters to fall through them. But it made the boxing ring look weird. In ABL 2.0, I made the ropes straight but that meant you couldn't fall through it as often.

In the coming ABL 3.0, I decided to implement a solution that I think is pretty funny, so I wanted to share the progress with you all. Spent a long time pulling my hair out over figuring out the logic for this, but it worked out pretty well so I'm happy.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share some progress. So like 99% of the changes I've made so far are behind-the-scenes updates, so you don't need to care about that.

Here is some new physics that I've been experimenting with. It's in a very early/buggy stage right now since I just started, but it's a good start - and I'm using the old AI behavior and animations - that will all be updated.

Okay I’m back let’s get it

I’m back from my trip! I’ll be working hard this month for ABL 3.0 so please bear with me. Hopefully it’ll take just one month but I’ll definitely have the minimal basic systems set up so that I can do customs and then I’ll polish things up over time.

It’ll be a complete overhaul of most systems and animations so lots to be excited for. I’ll be posting snippets of the process on Twitter as a sneak peak, but itll be a nice and fresh redo of ABL.

September Announcement

Hello everyone!

I have some updates for the coming month:

1. Customs will be CLOSED for September
   
   - I have lots of stuff going on in September, so I will be closing customs for the entire month.
   - I will not be taking custom characters from now- if you already submitted your forms, I will still do them.
