It's not animated yet, but I'm working with some SUPER FUCKING COMPLICATED JAPANESE SOFTWARE TO DO THAT!

I intend to animate the toes and such separately!

I'll work on this off and on between the Visual Novel projects.

I've already spent forever creating each joint of each hand and toe separately! But I'm taking tomorrow off because... IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Finally coming toward the end! VISUAL NOVEL!

The VN is almost there! While the first release will be voice acting free, it will give everyone a good idea of what to expect in future releases AND- what to expect from the voice actresses we currently have ON HAND!

So, enjoy this preview, knowing that I'm FINALLY programming the last bit of the big project! And also that I've added a few things to the HIPFC portion of the story, including a peek into KIRA'S dark past.

Dreams? A post about Dreams.

Call me a sap. But today the family and I were out at a massive Flea Market. And I came across a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Artbook. It was in a stack of CDs, so somebody didn’t know what it was.

Anyway, the thing I loved most was at the back of the book: a picture of the team that worked on the game.

And I got all sappy. Because I’ve always dreamed of starting my own game studio, and creating something with a team of people who’s dreams all together meant more than my own.

Just a Big THANK YOU~!

Just letting everyone know that- I'm actually the happiest I've been in YEARS. And there were many, MANY years where I really wasn't. Which should hopefully explain the madness of why I want to make these games I'm making free to everyone.

HIPFC VN PROJECT UPDATE #03!

MOVING RIGHT ALONG! So in this shot is the TITLE SCREEN, which is and will remain in black and white. It was meant to be a placeholder, but it grew on me.

As for the image in the bottom left: That's a scene from in the game, when Cassandra is talking to Yoko during their car ride together. In the bottom right is my attempt to recreate Yoko and Kira's room. Which we now have a room number for! I had to recreate their apartment hallway as well... so I needed a room number.

So a little while ago I revealed for the first time in my chat that in the Cassandra’s Fiction episodes of the Visual Novel: you will create your own character!

HIPFC VN PROJECT UPDATE #02!

Here's just a background image/ cinematic shot from the game thus far! Featuring two of the girls from the comic that you've only seen the back of the heads of up until now. I'll add more shading and such to them after everyone has tested the first short of the game.

From what I've read: Most VNs are still played at 800 x 600. Keeping that in mind, I'm still aiming for 1024 x 768. Because 800 x 600 doesn't leave a lot for detail it seems. (Not that I need that much detail but... hey! I'm gonna...

HIPFC VN PROJECT UPDATE #01!

I have (temporary) music picked out~! All the sprites are complete (For the most part!) and now I've started outlining all of the cutscenes for the first test demo I'll send ya'll's way!

My plan WAS to complete it all today- but life, as you know, tends to like to throw things your way whenever you get TOO inspired. LOL!

I went from being on hold for two hours on one call, to landing myself at the Department of Motor Vehicles today. SO YOU KNOW HOW THAT GOES!

Got any good sites for music for HIPFC?

Tomorrow I start on my first backgrounds! For which there will be like, three or so for the first version of the game.

But half of a good VN are sweet tunes. I know there are free to use music sites out there. Got any good ones in mind?

I'll consider hiring a composer (Or composing things myself. I did buy a keyboard to do just THAT!) depending on how much support it gets.

By the by- I'm currently planning to have the VN be like the webcomic was: $5 backers get early access.

An update regarding the future of HIPFC

Just jumping on some sprites for HIPFC ASAP!

First up is Cassandra! I’ll be doing Yoko next and then three more girls for the first episode. The first Background will be for the parking lot BEFORE Cassandra leaves school in the first strip of HIPFC.

We’ll also be covering the fanfiction that Cassandra writes. So expect zombie tickles, fantasy and science fiction tickles over the course of our story. Not to mention mobster and cop tickles.

I intend to add everything I knew I did...

HIPFC - Visual Novel?

Ok, so lately I started taking up programming classes. So I can make better games. Then I intend to take some 3D courses and Environmental modeling courses, etc.

In the meantime- I'm thinking of turning HIPFC into a Visual Novel. That way I can actually release well, a lot more content in a shorter span of time.

That way I can actually complete the story before I die!

Temporary Hiatus!

Just taking a short hiatus while my lungs recover from a series of flights equaling 13 hours and a 10+ hour drive from Florida to my home state. Which was fraught with peril. And a pair of needlenose pliers popping the tire of my rental vehicle. Anywho, I changed my tire but- my lungs are still fucked from the 30k feet and long ranged driving.

Haven't heard back from my last commissioner. So I used today's art time to do this! Because... REASONS! (I really wanted to sketch Belle. It's been a while! 8)

I always tell my wife that I could make a comic about the shit that comes out of her mouth. Well. I finally did. Because she was really adamant that I do today.
