Ahhh... gay Paris. A city so full of life and love and mystery. When plans began to come together to make the trip happen with two of my very favourite people in the world, I was overcome with excitement! Chris and Miranda became great friends after I dragged Miranda to a photoshoot with Chris and the two of them found creative partners in one another. We were all so thrilled to be planning an overseas trip! Suddenly, Miranda had to back out which broke Chris and my hearts... but we knew Miranda...

I went to middle school with a sweet guy whose family were farmers. Fast forward almost a decade and a half to two years ago; when we were two of those 'barely acquaintance' friends on Facebook and I was searching for a great location to do a nude photoshoot while visiting my hometown. This old acquaintance posted about his family's apple orchard, encouraging people to come for a visit to do yoga, walk their dogs, etc. so I, naturally, sent a message asking whether he and his family might be alr...

Ahh, as I lap up the last of the birthday love, celebrate the shenanigans, and finish thanking all of the individuals who sent well wishes, gifts and great energy my way yesterday, I wanted to write a little something here.
I find birthdays are a great time for reflection and goal-making. I wrote out a list of goals for my last year as a 20-something and think you might enjoy reading them!
- model on the following continents before the end of the year:
- Africa

I love a good girdle. Not because I want the shaping qualities or the hold, but rather that I like the feeling of them when they are quality made. The one in this set in particular is far more fashion than function, but that doesn't mean I don't simply adore it! For me, the attraction is in the fact that I grew up disliking confined spaces and anything that restricted movement - I was a spritely child, wild and adventurous who did not want to be contained. As I grew, I kept that same mind, but e...

While writing this post, I'm listening to Eiffel 65's 'Blue' and having a bit of a dance party! Happy November!!
I've always loved shooting infrared images. The milky whiteness of my skin - like marble - my veins showing through the fog. Recently, Jayc, an infrared photographer I've collaborated with several times in the past, and I got together and shot on a rainy day while wandering around Vancouver's Stanley Park. While those photos are processed, I wanted to share some of our best images f...

A quick behind-the-scenes selfie from my shoot the other day with Marc De Vinci in my Fetish Maleficent costume! Unfortunately, the final edited images are not yet complete as I had a very trying October and my mental health really took a tumble... I had to postpone our original shoot to get my life in order. Marc, the gracious being that he is, thankfully understood and worked with me to make the shoot happen, and so here we are! Final photos will be revealed soon. 😁
Also... one of th...

Yesterday was kind of a long day for me. I had spent two wonderful nights on the Sunshine Coast, enjoying the slower-moving community for Thanksgiving with friends. They had just moved from Vancouver to this little oceanfront community, separated from the lower mainland by a beautiful 45 minute ferry ride up the strait. I was excited because this was actually a challenge for me. I was invited to celebrate with them because my f...

Another throwback to celebrate my dear friend, Chris Triance-Martin's birthday yesterday!! If you don't already follow this gentleman, please please go give him some love. He's got some of the most REAL, RAW photography around. I can't gush about him any less or more than I do, haha.

Pierus and I have been friends for many years, and every time we shoot, the results blow me away. He captures colour and shadow perfectly and stays true to the feel of the photoshoot in his edits. I feel the emotions I felt during our shoots when I see the work he puts in. It's quite a talent!
On this day in particular, I was in a pretty big rush as I had been running around like crazy all day. Pierus and I went down to the ocean where I took a moment to centre myself and focus on being ground...

Doug Fetherston (@dougfetherston) and I travel a great deal together, most recently to Iceland this past summer. Before that, we had stuck exclusively to warm destinations, my favourite being this destination: Thailand. We spent several weeks exploring the islands and shooting wherever we could manage!

Chris Triance-Martin has an innate ability to capture me in a way no one else has ever been able to. He and I have this kindred spirit that is truly beautiful and full of trust.
This photo set is from years ago, when I first made a trip to London, Ontario to visit him and his two lovely cats. It was a beautiful (if somewhat quirky) homestead full of shadows and light and colour. These photos feature some of my very favourite images ever taken of me.

Juan Audiel and I teamed up to shoot these beautiful images in a building built in the 1910s with the vintage flair. It's a magical place full of the class of the era... you have to wonder about whose spirits cling to the place...

Last winter, during a visit to my hometown just outside of Toronto, I met up with one of my dearest friends, a photographer named Chris Triance-Martin. I had bought some gorgeous lingerie that made me feel like a vixen that was screaming to be photographed, so we tried something a little different for the two of us as we both feel that nude art is the most honest and fulfilling; we tried some lingerie. We did end up deciding to strip down to nude, as you can see in this set, but it started out v...

My heart is in my throat. My nerves are stacked and my fingers tingle... I'm facing down the beginning of something I know is going to be time consuming and challenging; that will bring me overwhelming happiness and some really diminishing blows to my ego (everything balances out in the end, after all). I'm looking Patreon in the eye and, with a little nervous anticipation, extending an upturned palm and saying, "well, shall we give this thing a go?"
I've wanted to start a Patreon up since I f...
