Mordred's footwork + variations

Initially I wanted to call this "Mordred's fatality" but it sounds cringy when giving a second thought :)

I'm quite happy with the angle and how the scene is set up, because there are multiple ways for viewer to make up their own scenerio.

It could simply be Mordred doing a favor of stepping on you, Mordred wanting you to smell her foot, or the winner in the duel gets to step on the loser, whichever makes you happy :)

I wanted to focus on the foot so all variations are done ...

WIP - Balcony Scene

I'd like to give you a quick preview of what I was working on.

Mordred is doing something something on high rise. What you see is half of the image.

Reason I'm showing this is because I'm jumping to working on a different piece right after uploading this one.

I've just got the new idea and have to put it into work.

I'll get back to finishing this balcony piece later in May.

I'm sorry that it took me long to deliver this set, l was expecting things to become less problematic but it seems improvements has been pretty slow.

On the bright side, I really enjoyed drawing the two Sabers hugging, especially when I was able to come up with the pose that likely would never happen in official media or anywhere else :)

Summer is coming and soon it'll be time to design new swimsuits for Mordred.

March 2023 rewards preview

Here's the preview of March's reward set.

It's been a while since we last had Artoria and Mordred together, therefore I decided to have them hugging each other this time.

This piece took me much longer to figure out than expected as I was not familiar with the pose as well as did not have a very concrete idea on how to make things look good altogether.

I repainted the characters 2-3 times because doing it the usual way ended up making the whole image look to busy with unnece...

Mordred topless working out (long hair version)

The elbow is no longer cursed and I also repainted some parts of the skin.

Mordred's coffee run outfit + variations

I might have spent more than anticipated time on this one, which resulted in more variations than originally planned.

Mordred is in a her new outfit of the day getting a cup of Ricebucks coffee and some snacks.

I'm quite fond of the design of the mouton jacket (just learned what it's actually called) and how to pair it with the rest of the outfit to create a style that fits Mordred.

Her inner wear is based on personal preference^^

April Fool's Mordred + nude variation

Modred blows up on April the 1st.

I didn't mean to do nude varition on the same image twice but this one fits the narration too well so I had to go for it.

This is a 24 hour thing for today's fun only. In the next post I'm returning Mordred to her usual proportion, no more water melons.

February 2023 rewards preview

Here's the preview of February's reward set.

I'm really sorry about being so late on this preview. February has been an incredibly busy and difficult month.

I spent at least 2 hours every day sorting book orders, making labels, packing and then another 2 hours traveling to the post offices to drop them off, almost every day since late February. Not having a car is also a big disadvantage in this case...

Even though being able to bring many of Mo-Collection books to those out...

Mordred's flexing accident (nude versions)

I remember really enjoying myself when drawing the original version.

The top part of Mordred's original outfit has always been my favorite part.

It looks cool and sexy at the same time and I could come up with lots of drawing or scenarios around it.

Finally, the top's come off :)

Mordred's breakfast + variations

Mordred being offered breakfast while eating her breakfast.

It was fun doing this one making the scene somehow feel right at home and natural with Mordred in it.

I actually couldn't make up my mind of what kind of food to be offered to Mordred that could entice her more than the burger she was already eating.

I tried club sandwiches, pizza, steaks, regular burgers but ended up going for a more premium-looking, bigger burger with fries.

January 2023 rewards preview

Here's the preview of the first reward set of 2023

I've been having a good time experimenting with many full body shots of Mordred. It's different from the usual bust-up of half body because the balancing the body and proportion plays a bigger role in making the Mordred look good.

Additionally it was challenging to design the outfits that could work well with the pose, from head to toe.

Somehow the base image came out to be punk,gothich-ish, maybe a bit emo kind of look.

Second time looking back at this piece somehow gave me a Titanic moment which is just right for a nude upgrade :)

I made a version with some "extra material" that I have not done before.

You'll recognize what I mean the moment you spot it xD. If it's not your cup of tea, please skip it for the smooth version.

Mordred's new-found fashion + variations

My recent attempts on creating new casual looks for Mordred. 

Difference this time was, the style of the outfits is closer to real-life fashion as I was aiming for a more "Outfit of the day (OOTD)" look on Mordred.

This was one of the first few attempts so I wasn't very confident with shoes and accessories, because besides a small number of sneakers, I don't have the knowledge of what would look good on a girl like Mordred (yet)

Mordred murdering a hamburger + variations

It's fun using food to express personality from the way a character interacts with it.

I want to show Mordred appreciating what she's about to bite into so I had her holding the burger firmly and almost respectfully xD

Maybe in future drawing I can have Mordred interact with food in a naughtier manner :)

December 2022 rewards preview

2023 is the year of rabbit so I'd like to start with something which illustrates just that.

It took me a good amount of time to figure out how to put the father and son duo together as well as staging everything from the bunny costumes to background decorations that could bring out the festive vibe of the new year.

I ended up choosing the regular casino-like bunny costume (with stockings) instead of modern Japanese kimono because there are more freedom to create alterations.

Mordred the present + nude version

Somehow this Christmas I got many messages quoting the old version of this image that I did back in 2019. 

I think it might have been one of the pieces that introduced my Mordred to a lot of people.

So I decided to update it with the idea that I didn't get to do with the other christmas pieces, having Mordred as a present herself.

It felt off-season but I picked doing this variation on top of starting a new piece to celebrate new year xD.

2022 Santa Mordred (who has vertigo) + variations

This is the final illustration of 2022, sorry I got it up a bit late, in some parts of the world it's 2023 already.

I was completely and physically exhausted after Comiket and had to take almost 2 days of rest to regain my strength to finish the variations of this piece.

November 2022 rewards preview

Sorry for the wait. I would like to give you a preview of the upcoming November rewards

What I did this time was to not coming up with any kind of big idea but instead, using a simple action as base and created interpretations of it in different angles or action variations.

In this case, the action is Mordred taking off her jeans.

I found this to be a rather interesting way that allowed me to draw and render more from different angles.

 Mordred was on her way to the lunch spot up top but then realized one of her shoes was loose and had to kneel down to fix it.

That's the scenario I cooked up.

I should have changed the design of the shoe to match with the outfit but was pretty lazy to, so forgive me for that~

Book preview : Mo-Collection 3

As promised, I'd like to show you some photos of the upcoming Mo-Collection vol 3 artbook, to be released in Comiket 101 at the end of the year.

Together with the main pink book, is an extra one called Mo-Collection Extra. It's the smaller white book with fewer pages. The content will feature sexy variations of existing work, plus some nude varitions as well.

Bocchi rocks + variations

I enjoy my time watching "Bocchi the rock!" anime so much that I had to do some fan art of the main girl Bocchi.

If you haven't seen the show, it's a slice-of-life comedy about this girl joining a band while being a socially awkward yet down-to-earth and most relatable person. I also like how negatively imaginative she is.

I hope you'd like seeing something other than Mordred once in a while.
I highly recommend the anime if you are into comedy.

After some trial and error, I have come to realize that fur (or feather) coat, leather belts and lingerie look quite awesome on Mordred, which gave me the idea to create this piece.

Because the thick coat has such a strong powerful silhouette, contrasting it with the feminine and sexiness of the lingerie gives out quite an impression in my opinion.
