My Girlfriend is a Giant Fairy 2 is coming out this month!

Yep, MGIAGF2 is coming out at on Feb 1st! The response to this comic really caught me off guard, it's been my most popular new comic in a long while. I feel vindicated, because it's an idea that I was kicking around for years! (Not the fairy part specifically, but the invisible magic giantess girlfriend idea.)

It's great because her magical abilities are an excuse to try to all kinds of weird random ideas that otherwise wouldn't fit into a comic. Among other things, here are some ideas ...

Kaylee 21 preview

Yep, it's going to be Kaylee this month, I'm feeling it now. Loving Krystal's new hair, and as I mentioned on Discord, there's a very good excuse for her hair getting messed up.

I was thinking that chapter 21 would be the finale, but the more I think about it the more I question whether I can fit everything into one chapter. Krystal growing over a mile high (which really shouldn't be much of a spoiler at this point) deserves at least most of a chapter on its own.

Still not 100% decided yet, but I'm leaning towards doing Kaylee 21 this month. This chapter is going to have a lot of Krystal, way more than anything else so far!

Royalty deleted image

This wasn't included in the original release because the only version I had at the moment had some pretty huge render errors, but now the final version is done. I won't rush out to upload the PDF, since it's a pretty minor change that doesn't affect the story at all... but I'll try to upload the edited version the next week or two.

Poll was split, but I'm leaning towards OAG

I'm going to do the usual thing where I go back and forth between both of them for a few days and see which one I find myself more interested in. I'm leaning towards OAG, in part because I kind of want to take a while to listen to feedback and decide exactly how things will play out with Kaylee and Kayla.

OAG or Kaylee?

I will say, the more I think about it the more I'm thinking that I should wait another month before releasing Kaylee 21. With that said, if people are overwhelmingly in favor of Kaylee being released first I might have to do it!

OAG bedroom test

So part of me wants to release OAG this month. I do really like how Briana is shaping up! Then again, the last chapter of Kaylee has a pretty big cliffhanger, and part of me wants to do something I don't usually do and put out two chapters of the same comic back to back.

What do you think? Do you want OAG first, or should I hurry up and deliver the Kaylee finale? I'll post a poll soon!

The (Only) Three Princesses

So I made a couple last-minute changes to Gigantocracy that I think are big improvements. First, there are only three sisters, and I won't be revealing a fourth sister in the second chapter. The gluttonous, lazy, chubby oldest sister is no more! 

Claire, who is plenty gluttonous, lazy and chubby herself, is now the oldest sister, and not the second-youngest like I originally wrote. It makes it more ironic for her to be both the oldest princess and the shortest and weakest.  2022-12-31 22:18:11 +0000 UTC View Post

I'm glad that Gigantocracy won both polls (I also did a poll on Twitter with fewer options) because it was my personal favorite. I wish I could take credit for the name idea, but while I'd been trying to figure out a name along those lines, ChatGPT came up with that actual name before I could! For anyone who doesn't know, Gigantocracy means "rule by giants." It's a word that only returns ten search results on google, one of which is my twitter poll, so it won't be hard to look up!

I've ALMOST done with all the story-focused renders for this chapter, so I'm finally getting to the close-up shots, which I've been doing last for the last few chapters. As big as their scale is now, it's a pretty big adjustment in a lot of ways, and sometimes takes a lot of little tweaks.

The text-free version of Kaylee 19 has been sent out!
