Amazon Mom - undeleted image

Here's an image that I didn't include for the first two versions but decided to include for the Gumroad release... mostly so I could advertise the comic as being "over 150 pages long." Her eyes look kind of weird and it's nothing to write home about, but since I can't update the mediafire PDF's without sending out new links I figured I might as well just share it here.

The chase takes the combatants out of the arena, and into the desert that surrounds it...

This scene uses a more realistic sand texture along with some subtle fog. I think it adds a lot to the realism, I might go back and do the same to the arena scene too.

Making some additions to the set, and I'm floored by how good it looks! It turns out I was able to subdivide the set, which is already 9 million polygons before subdivision. On top of that I also added a model of the full city, so you can see the distant hills, and a bunch of destruction and smoke props... And even with all that, the scene renders in 4K in ten minutes flat! (For comparison...

So shortly after ordering my 3090 (which I still haven't gotten around to installing!) I went ahead and splurged on a rather expensive model of Los Angeles. I think it was worth it! You can see that individual buildings aren't that detailed if you really pick at the details but the overall impression of realism and scale is pretty amazing. In the future I'll use depth of field to hide some of those lacking details... and with the 3090 I might even be able to subdivide it.

Goddesses of the Arena?

I'm also toying with the idea of releasing the final chapter of Goddesses of the Arena this month for Tier 2 (Tier 3 will be Titania.) I've got about 30 images rendered or ready to render, I'll have to decide within the next week or so what comic I'm going to go with this month. What do you think about GotA?

Also my current outline for the final chapter is pretty brief, so I might either pivot things a bit near the end or else have another short comic to pad things out... Possibly some ...

Hey, I was wondering what people thought of this month's comics. Hopefully you liked the new chapter of OAG, but I'm especially curious about what people thought of Amazon Mom, since it's a new series that's a little different from my usual comics!
