Testing out two different lighting methods once again. On top is "direct lighting," which uses a lot of short-cuts for fast renders, and lacks true shadows. On bottom is "path tracing," which has more realistic, darker shadows as well as sub-surface shading. and generally more realistic lighting. I'm not really sure which one I prefer this time; #2 makes it look like it's later in the evening, and is more dramatic, but with #1 it's just easier to see what's going on and at first glance it...

I'm asking for advice. I already have the comic completed in the style of the first image, but I really like how it looks with better, more realistic lighting. Is it worth re-rendering everything in the style of the second image? It takes a long time to render in this style, so it may not be done until after the first version of the comic is initially released, but I would make sure all of the All-Access subscribers got the redone version.

I'm getting back into Pax Romana, my 'Ancient Rome-but-with-giantesses-in-charge' setting. Pax Romana encompasses the Roman Nights and Goddesses of the Arena as well as and two stories, Roman Hospitality and, well, Pax Romana. Someone pointed out that Sugar Pills: Power P1 wasn't in the Completionist folders. I just fixed that, so if anyone else noticed that SPPP1 wasn't there, it is now!
And something I've been wondering: should I keep putting out text-free versions of comics? It's not too hard to do, but I wasn't sure if anybody wanted them. If you do, please let me know in the comments.
